Position Summary:  We are working with a growing dairy company in the Pacific Northwest that is looking to fill a newly created national food service & alternative channel sales position. This position will report to the VP of Sales and work to promote a positive company culture. The Director will build/retain great team members while developing customer strategies and strong partnerships with customers.


Job Responsibilities:

·        Identify market dynamics, pricing trends & new customer opportunities

·        Lead team customer planning, optimize distribution, and manage trade budgets

·        Develop customer strategies & execution plans

·        Lead business planning meetings with customers & potential customers to establish business objectives

·        Develop solid customer relationships with key decision makers

·        Retain and recruit top sales talent that promotes a positive work culture

·        Lead food service & alternative channel team to deliver profitable revenue growth


Required Skills/Qualifications:

·        7+ years of sales experience in the food industry

·        5-7+ years’ experience with alternative/food service channels.

·        Effective and timely communicator

·        Exceptional leader with strong cross functional skills & ability to build relationships

·        Strong influencer; able to motive and inspire

·        Proven history of driving execution and develop strategies

·        Understands trade investment performance dynamics

·        Able to balance cross functional concerns and customer demands in an ever-changing market place

·        Superior organization and time management skills

·        Able to collect data, analyze and draw effective conclusions

·        Able to travel 50%
