SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – Manchester, NH or Boston, MA
The successful candidate will pursue and close converged sales accounts. Perform networking and develop proposals and presentations to obtain business.
Perform complex networking to establish Company in the marketplace and obtain contacts.
Prospect leads and contact potential customers to assess data communications needs and propose solutions.
Prepare presentation materials, product announcement information, and other related documents.
Provide demonstrations to potential customers on data communication systems offered by Company.
Develop and respond to RFPs which include technical information, corporate background, pricing and implementation strategies, and related legal documents.
Complete application design needs analyses for data communication systems.
Conduct internal and external status meetings to ensure proper project implementation, resolve issues, and maintain profitable business relationships.
Update knowledge of current industry developments. Participate in training programs to increase expertise, maintain competitive edge, and improve customer knowledge.
Confer with the Market Manager assistance as necessary.
Maintain and develop installed base accounts for revenue generating purposes.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience. Typically requires 3-5 years telecommunications, cable, or directory sales experience.
3-5 years sales, data networking, wide area networking, telephony, and VoIP experience.
Experience in a new sales role with demonstrated success of quota attainment.
Experience in solution based selling role and outside territory management skills.
Experience with Cisco, EMC, NetApp, Nimble, VMWare, Citrix products preferred
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent sales presentation and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
Base – up to $70k and commissions at plan $55k
