National Food Service Manager

 

We are looking for a creative, detailed-oriented Sales Manager. This is a newly created food service national position with a specialty bakery company. The ideal candidate will have a proven history in food service sales and motivated to work for a growing company. Please apply if interested! 

 

Responsibilities:

·        Interact with all levels of organization

·        Be an integral member of the commercial team and works proactively with other team members to drive sales process and develop new sales opportunities

·        Take initiative to establish new leads and develop new external relationships

·        Ensure the flow of information across departments

·        Work closely with R&D and operational team to create product solutions

·        Review and approve customer order

·        Provide relevant data to production planning and pre planning in order to process orders on time and the agreed quality

·        Ensure and maintain the order processes in the B2B field

·        Prepare reports and summaries to present to CEO on regular basis

·        Prepare annual forecast reports

·        Coordinate with CEO and Controlling department on price development, payment terms, freight costs, discounts, compensation and incentives to maximize sales volume and profit

·        Travel to customers as needed

 

Qualifications:

·        5-8 years of proven and recent food service sales experience

·        Previous direct experience selling food/beverage into institutions such as (colleges/hospital/military) and/or places like (restaurants/hotels/cafeterias) would is needed

·        Direct experience working for a new or growing business is helpful

·        Proven track record in project management and sales/business development

·        Willing and comfortable to self-direct in an entrepreneurial environment

·        Effective with senior level communication, influencing and negotiation

·        Proficient with financial and contractual management

·        Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes

·        Strong analytical aptitude

·        Motivated to join a fast-growing company

·        Must be open to commuting a few days a week to the Hudson Valley, NY
