The Full Stack Software Developer will be responsible for building out new features and functions to support business process improvements and scalability. This individual must be self-driven to learn our technology stack and develop solutions meeting the business needs. This individual will be working closely with the rest of the development team in an agile environment. Actively reviewing requirements from the business, offering input on possible solutions, building solutions collaboratively and meeting team deliverables from sprint to sprint are key to being successful in this role.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

•Support of existing software applications used by the company in its day-to-day business
•Debugging, fixing and enhancing existing software
•Design front-end user experience with a focus on intuitive ease of use
•Designing, developing, and testing full-stack software solutions for the business

Essential Skills & Experience:

•Experience writing back-end web services in nodejs (Express, HAPI, etc)  
•Experience in B2C web analytics (segment)
•Experience in customer facing, high-traffic websites
•Experience with front-end web development using Reactjs and native, Angular, HTML, CSS
•Experience with front-end development technologies (React, TypeScript, SCSS, Apollo, etc.)
•Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, serverless functions)  
•Experience working with SCRUM teams and ability to follow development processes
•Demonstrate grasp of using source control management software git/GitHub
•Experience in writing automated unit tests including front-end component testing  
•Demonstrated ability to write software code in more than one software language
•Demonstrated ability in at least one database technology and query language
•Familiar with designing, writing, profiling, debugging and testing code
•Excellent oral and written communication skills


•5-8 years IT experience in a Software development capacity
•1-2 years’ experience with REACT
•Ability to drill down into the details of a delivery request without losing sight of the big picture.
•Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives.
•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and
 effective working relationships
•Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge
•Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills

Preferred Skills:

•SQL experience or demonstrated knowledge of database construction and design
•Preferred experience supporting cloud-based (AWS, Google Cloud, etc) solutions
•Preferred experience using RabbitMQ, MongoDB, GraphQL
