Job Description Summary

MP2 Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Shell New Energies North America, brings a wide range of power generation, power supply, renewable energy, and sustainability offerings to its customers. The Solution Sales Account Manager will facilitate and support solution sales activities with Shell Energy Inside key accounts. The Account Manager will directly collaborate with Sales, Delivery and Operations, Customer Support, and other cross-functional teams to support evolving business needs.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-          A customer first orientation, attention to detail and view towards how to enhance value for customer and for MP2.

-          Work with cross-functional teams to execute account plan and strategy

-          Lead post sales meetings (i.e. Quarterly Business Reviews) with customers to demonstrate & extract value

-          Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team performance

-          Provide regular updates to the team to ensure accurate forecasts are in place for both existing and new business

-          Regular travel to client locations

Essential Functions:

-              Strong presentation, interpersonal, analytical, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

-          Self-starter, able to operate with limited direction

-          Ability to think strategically as well as understand the practical, day-to-day implementation requirements for successful customer engagements

-          Ability to resolve conflicts among internal and external stakeholders

-          Experience with MS PowerPoint, Excel and Salesforce

 

Requirements:

   - 3-5 years account management, sales, or customer success experience

   - Distributed energy solutions experience/knowledge is a plus

  - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook and strong Excel
skills

-                Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail

-               Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives

-                Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective  
         working  relationships

-              Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge

-              Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills
