Summary: We are looking for a Mulesoft Integration Architect to deliver Mulesoft technology solutions for Federal Government clients. You will lead the design, development and implementation of the integration architecture for proposed solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need to communicate well with the technical team as well as with clients. If you’re an experienced team player and a creative problem-solver using Mulesoft products, we’d like to meet you. Remote work allowed.

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in CS, software engineering, or equivalent experience. Certified MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect and other relevant certifications highly preferred

Required Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years serving as an Architect implementing MuleSoft technology for Enterprise Integration & API Management needs.
  • Minimum 6+ years implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) using technologies like Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica PowerCenter, etc.
  • Prefer 5 years of hands-on experience implementing solutions for integration of on-premises and/or cloud systems using Mule ESB Anypoint platform including Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, Cloudhub, Connectors, Design Center and API management

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Configuration and set-up integration environments
  • Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
  • Advise delivery team on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring and other operational concerns related to the integration solutions within the MuleSoft Product Suite (API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Dataweave, Orchestration, ActiveMQ, Pub/Sub modules, etc.)
  • Develop positive working relationships with client technical teams
  • Actively involved with requirement understanding and analysis.
  • Work closely with functional leads/PMs to understand the partner integration requirements.
  • Suggests innovative solutions to business problems/ processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences.
  • Train and mentor junior integration resources

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the architecture, capabilities and constraints of MuleSoft
  • Hands on knowledge of SOA architecture and fluency in web service standards and technologies.
  • Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration and deployment
  • Experience in creating Mule ESB flows, and performing payload transformation
  • Extensive experience using various Mule connectors including HTTP, Salesforce, AWS, DB, VM
  • Candidates should have a demonstrated track record in software development experience, agile and waterfall methodologies in a consultant environment.
  • Ability and comfort level researching client inquiries and providing strategic and tactical recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate technical components with clarity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading and motivating a team of MuleSoft developers
  • Public Sector and Salesforce integration experience strongly preferred[AS1] 
  • Solid hands-on experience in architecting and developing J2EE based web applications. (JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JMS, JAXB)
  • Experience in leveraging DevOps tools for MuleSoft development life cycle (Jenkins, MUnit, ANT, Maven, Artifactory, GitHub/BitBucket, etc.)
  • Experience integrating Enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK APIs
