A Material Program Manager position is currently available as a remote position. This is a Full-Time position. Great matching candidates will have twelve plus years of working experience and a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Operations. The MPM serves as the liaison between the Program Manager, Integrated Product Team, other functional leads, and the Supply Chain Organization. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert impact and influence the overall goals of the Program and the IPT.  The ideal candidate will have financial, contracting, negotiation and project management responsibilities including, but not limited to, risk and opportunity management, briefing in customer forums, negotiating large subcontracts, and monthly/quarterly financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:

Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plans
Support supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectives
Contribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity management
Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs).
Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.
Participating in and co-leading supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.
Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be &gt;25%)
Assist in managing the Material / Sales Forecasts 
Interface with cross-functional IPT to ensure schedules are adhered to with proper sense of urgency to achieve internal and external customer delivery requirements.
Initiate and support process improvement initiatives.
Strong organizational skills with ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and assignments.
Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, verbally and in writing, to all organizational levels and cross-functional groups.
Self-starter with a positive attitude who can work at setting priorities while multi-tasking to meet various deadlines on short notice.

Qualifications:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business administration or related field and at least 12 years of subcontract; or related experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree (2 years&rsquo; experience for each year of degree.) 
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience working with Earned Value and Proposal Development
Negotiation experience
Experienced user of MS Office Suite 

 Preferred Qualifications:

At least ten years working experience with FAR/DFAR contracting
CSPM/CPIM or other APICS certification 
Experience in ERP &ndash; namely IFS
Ability to achieve an Active secret clearance

      <description><![CDATA[Raytheon-Rafael Area Protection Systems (R2S) is seeking a proven, high performing Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to fill this key role supporting a dynamic and growing company.

The SQE role will be active in all aspects of Quality Assurance responsibilities. The position will require a strong collaboration and leadership skills as they will be required to work directly with our Customer and Supplier partners in a cross-functional team environment to sustain ongoing production deliveries of current contracts and develop supplier second sources. 
Responsibilities include:

Ensure flow down of product requirements both internally and to the sub-tier suppliers through PO requirements, Quality Notes, and Statement of Work (SOW)
Interpret these requirements and make decisions on Quality Note application to procured parts
Review Supplier Change Requests, Supplier Statements of Work and internal TDP change requests
Perform on-site Source Surveillance
Track supplier response to Corrective Action Requests (CAR), evaluate supplier response, provide feedback to supplier, and ensure closure of 8D

Actively participates in root cause analysis on failures,
Participate in Supplier assessments, evaluating new potential suppliers,

Prepare and authorize the Acceptance Data Package (ADP) for customer deliveries.
Contribute in the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supplier quality performance
Participate in process change reviews, qualification test reviews,
Perform special process audits and qualification to include Weld, NDT, Paint
Facilitate Program Reviews, Supplier Reviews, and Technical Interchange Meetings
Perform Supplier factory process walks and factory risk assessments
Represents Quality on cross-functional teams to integrate contractual and QMS into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation
Act as the customers&rsquo; advocate when customers have detected quality problems
Review and approve deviation requests from suppliers
Assisting in, and directing investigations and resolution of quality-related supplier, production, manufacturing, and design-related problems or non-conformances,
Conduct or support Supplier First Article Inspections (FAI) of product revisions and new product launch,


Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited university in Engineering or related STEM programs, and at least 10 years&rsquo; experience, or a combination of related experience and education in Quality Engineering or working with Quality Systems.
Experience presenting to and communicating in cross-functional teams.
At least two years&rsquo; experience in reading and understanding various technical documents such as blueprints, material specification sheets, etc.
Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001 standards
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, 

Preferred Qualifications:

Active or transferable U.S. government issued Secret Clearance
ASQ Certified CQE, CMQ/OE, CSQP or CQA,
Demonstrated success using Lean or Six Sigma tools methodologies,

The selected candidate will be responsible for production execution duties for mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electrical subassemblies for the Iron Dome system (All Up Round (AUR), Canister, Circuit Card Assemblies, Motors, Rocket Motors, Warheads, other machined parts). The Production Support Engineer serves as a technical liaison between the supplier, customer, and R2S Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.

Note: U.S. Citizenship is required as this position needs a U.S. Security Clearance (SECRET or higher).

Other duties and responsibilities include:

Leading technical efforts in the transfer of production knowledge to new suppliers
Travelling to suppliers&rsquo; production sites to assess manufacturing planning, tooling, process flows, inventory management, facilities and factory layouts of suppliers and the company's own production site
Preparing Technical Data Packages (TDP) for the release process through the program&rsquo;s Configuration Control Board
Evaluating customer Engineering Change Notices for impact to cost and execution and implementing into existing TDPs
Communicating technical risks from supplier Change Requests and Nonconformance Reports with R2S and customer Quality teams
Supporting Quality in review of AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports
Briefing leadership on supplier/program status and justifying requests for technical changes
Creating technical presentations for communicating production issues with a foreign customer&rsquo;s Engineering team
Supporting daily peer reviews of team members work
Assist in developing standard engineering processes and implementation in business systems.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Basic Qualifications:

B.S. with a major in Mechanical Engineering or other related field
Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, primarily in the aerospace/defense industry
Experience with manufacturing/producibility
Experience creating and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key leadership teams and stakeholders
Strong knowledge of configuration management principles
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Advanced problem-solving experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level clearance. US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance
5+ years of engineering experience in the aerospace/defense industry
Experience working directly with international partners on aerospace and defense products
Knowledge of CCA manufacturing techniques and electrical systems test
Broad producibility knowledge spanning machining, mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, mix/cast energetics
Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience working with classified information in a closed area
Experience in manufacturing and assembling on a "build to print" basis
Manufacturing engineering experience (manufacturing planning, lean manufacturing, etc)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Experience interfacing with all levels of internal management

Travel: 15% mainly within the United States with rare overseas travel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify classified and unclassified material in accordance with approved SOPs.
Accurately store materials in designated secure locations following access control requirements 
Pick, stage and prepare classified shipments using approved packaging and documentation procedures
Operate warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jacks, and yard truck
Transportation material using company vehicle om compliance with CDL regulations and DOT requirements
Preform inventory transactions in Warehouse Management System (WMS) or authorized tracking system
Conduct cycle counts and supports physical inventory in secure areas

The selected candidate will be responsible to perform final assembly of energetic sections building large scale missiles. Applicant must be mechanically inclined, demonstrate attention to detail and safety, and provide strategic and critical products to our war fighters. This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

Perform assembly and checkout of air defense weapon systems.
Handle warheads, pyrotechnic devices, and complete air defense weapons systems.
Work with computer systems and applications.
Perform hardware movement in factory.
Follow all documented processes and procedures involving assembly and focus on proper material handling is always adhered to.
Willing to work with explosive items.
Ability to operate pneumatic and manual tools.
Capable of using manual torque tools.
Follow detailed work instructions and detailed processes to ensure hardware conformance.
Support and champion Lean Manufacturing in all processes and areas of responsibility.
Participates in meetings to acquire knowledge necessary to assist in continuance of production operations.
Provide work assignments and instruction to team member operators as needed.
Provides leadership to other team members during completion of assigned tasks.
The above includes but is not limited to making sure that all documented
processes and procedures involving assembly and a focus on proper material handling are adhered to.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
