The Role 


The URJ&rsquo;s Camp Eisner is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of residential cabins, common areas, restrooms, dining facilities, and staff housing. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for campers, guests, and staff. The Housekeeper works as part of the camp operations team and collaborates closely with colleagues to uphold high standards of cleanliness across the property year-round. 


What You Will Do 




Clean and sanitize cabins, restrooms, dining areas, and common spaces  






Maintain high-traffic areas and follow daily cleaning schedules  






Support deep cleaning and respond to urgent needs  






Assist with event and retreat setup and reset  






Safely use and store cleaning supplies and equipment  






Report maintenance or safety concerns  






Help keep supplies organized and stocked 






Contribute to a positive team environment and support additional operational needs as they arise

The Role 


The Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC) is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Field Organizer to lead and grow grassroots organizing efforts across Pennsylvania. This role is central to advancing state-based social justice campaigns in partnership with Reform Jewish communities and broader coalitions. The Field Organizer will work closely with clergy, lay leaders, teens, and partner organizations to build leadership capacity, mobilize communities, and drive campaigns that strengthen democracy, expand civic participation, and advance racial equity. This role blends on-the-ground organizing with strategic coordination across the Reform Movement&rsquo;s national priorities. This is an opportunity for a skilled organizer to deepen impact in Pennsylvania while contributing to a broader, values-driven movement for justice. 


What You Will Do 


Lead Statewide Organizing Campaigns Design and execute strategic campaigns aligned with RAC priorities, including protecting democracy, advancing racial equity, and promoting inclusive civic engagement across Pennsylvania. 


Build and Develop Leadership Identify, train, and coach clergy, congregational leaders, and youth to lead organizing efforts, strengthening sustainable, local leadership structures across the state. 


Grow and Mobilize the Base Engage individuals and communities to take action through initiatives such as civic engagement campaigns, issue advocacy, and coalition efforts. Expand participation both within and beyond Reform congregations. 


Strengthen Coalitions and Partnerships Build relationships with allied organizations, faith partners, and advocacy groups to advance shared goals and increase collective impact across Pennsylvania. 


Align with Movement Strategy Ensure state-based efforts are aligned with broader URJ and RAC priorities. Collaborate across teams to contribute to national campaigns and shared organizational goals.

The Role 


URJ Camp Newman is looking for a skilled and collaborative Sous Chef to join our culinary team in beautiful Sonoma County. In this role, you will help prepare and serve meals that bring people together, supporting a vibrant camp and retreat community made up of youth, families, and staff. This is a year-round position. The pace and focus shift throughout the year, with an energetic summer camp season (June&ndash;August) and a retreat and rental season (August&ndash;May).

The Role

Guide congregations through critical transitions Provide expert consultation to congregations navigating major moments of change, including senior or solo clergy transitions, succession planning, mergers, and leadership restructuring. Support leaders in making thoughtful, values-aligned decisions that position their communities for long-term sustainability. 


Serve as a strategic advisor to clergy and lay leaders Partner closely with congregational leadership during key lifecycle moments, including periods of conflict, organizational challenge, and leadership transition. Offer clear, practical guidance that strengthens lay-clergy partnerships and builds leadership capacity. 


Support high-priority congregations with tailored strategies Design and implement customized approaches that deepen engagement, strengthen leadership, and support growth and resilience in congregations with complex or high-impact needs.

The Role 


The Union for Reform Judaism&rsquo;s Eisner Camp is seeking a dependable and hands-on Maintenance Associate to support the upkeep of camp facilities and grounds. Maintenance Skills: Hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of various systems.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 




Previous experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role is highly preferred, especially in a camp or similar environment. 






Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and perform physical tasks related to facility upkeep 






A valid driver license  






Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions 






Flexibility to work extended hours during busy camp periods 






A high school diploma or equivalent.

The Role 
The Union for Reform Judaism&rsquo;s (URJ) Camp Newman is seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of residential cabins, common areas, restrooms, dining facilities, and staff accommodations. This key role ensures all areas are safe, clean, and welcoming for guests, campers, and staff. The Housekeeper will work as part of the camp operations team and collaborate with colleagues to maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the property. 
What You Will Do 
The Housekeeper will report to the Director of Retreat Services & Site Operations and will be responsible for the following: 


Clean and sanitize accommodations, common areas, restrooms, and staff facilities year-round, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met. 




Follow daily cleaning schedules and collaborate with housekeeping colleagues to ensure thorough cleaning. 




Maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas, such as restrooms and dining facilities. 




Assist with deep cleaning during seasonal transitions and address emergency cleaning tasks promptly. 




Assist with event and retreat setups, ensuring spaces are clean and organized. 




Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment, adhering to safety guidelines. 




Report any hazards, maintenance issues, or concerns to the Lead Housekeeper or Facilities Manager. 




Maintain an organized work area, ensuring cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and in good condition. 




Respond to urgent cleaning requests and assist with any additional duties as needed to support the team.
