DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 AI Evangelism

Passionately create AI opportunities and solutions for the company&rsquo;s AI Strategy.
Communicate and Teach AI ideas, techniques, and skills.
Provide the external face of MCP AI for the company. 

 Strategy and Planning

Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with the firm's goals and public safety objectives.
Lead and manage the AI Services across teams, providing direction, mentorship, and professional development.
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of AI projects and initiatives. 

 AI Solution Development

Identify opportunities for AI applications in public safety, including predictive analytics, real-time data processing, and decision support systems.
Collaborate with staff and clients to define project requirements and success criteria.
Ensure the ethical use of AI and compliance with relevant regulations and standards within MCP.
Oversee data collection, integration, and management processes to support AI initiatives.

 Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

Work closely with public safety/sector agencies, clients, and internal teams to understand needs and deliver effective AI solutions.
Communicate complex AI concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Represent the firm at industry conferences, workshops, and other events.
Contribute to multiple publications or presentations annually.
Establish and strengthen partnerships with AI vendors and service providers.

 Operational Management

Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems 
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and related technologies.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance AI services.
Oversee and track progress on MCP proprietary AI MAPS assessment tool.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job may involve supervising AI specialists and AI program activities within the company.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (or related field experience designing/implementing AI solutions) 
Minimum of 10 years of Experience with public safety/sector systems and an understanding of the unique challenges in the field.
Strong knowledge of recent AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Ability to clearly communicate AI ideas and concepts to non-technical leaders.
Proven track record of successfully managing projects from concept to implementation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Able to communicate to leadership, C-level executives, and clients on wide range of technical topics and strategies concerning AI

      <description><![CDATA[As an ASAP Implementation Specialist, the individual will coordinate, implement and support the Automated System Alarm Protocol (ASAP) interface to Emergency Call Centers (ECCs).  The role focuses on the validation of address or GIS information, coordinating with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Partners, network consultants/resources, Nlets, alarm monitoring center resources and internal stakeholders to successfully implement and test the ASAP service. 
LOCATION

 RESPONSIBILITIES

Implementation and support for ASAP service interfacing to ECCs.
Project management, including coordinating project schedules, milestones, and testing activities while actively managing deadlines to ensure timely delivery of ASAP implementation projects and keeping all internal and external tasks on time.
Collaborate with third-party implementation partners, such as Nlets, internal resources, CAD vendors, and ECCs, also known as Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), and alarm monitoring centers to plan and execute the implementation and support of the ASAP implsolution.
Ability to review address/GIS data for varying data set comparisons and document inconsistencies.
Ensure that all implementations comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.
Assure quality of project deliverables and client satisfaction.
Promote positive, long-term and meaningful client relations through quality deliverables and customer satisfaction
Meet key performance goals and expectations as defined by management
Participate in a 24x7x365 on-call support rotation, providing timely response to operational incidents, system issues, and customer escalations.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related discipline (preferred) or equivalent

Supporting projects that focus on the assessment, specifications, design, build, and systems installation of public safety grade facilities, including emergency communications centers (911 centers), emergency operations centers, real time crime centers, and other public safety related facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform onsite surveys and assessments through data gathering, equipment inspection, tours and stakeholder interviews with a focus on facility design, technical and operational workflows, technology and infrastructure.
Design public safety facility technology infrastructure that include standards-based redundancy, and geo-diversity, per industry best practices.
Develop detailed system schematics, and mission critical facility drawings utilizing AutoCAD or Revit, Visio and BlueBeam products.
Integrate detailed network designs with both technical and office-type furniture layouts.
Provide budget estimates for facility, technology and infrastructure design elements. 
Perform assessments of and develop recommendations for technology installations to assess compliance with industry codes, grounding/lightning protection, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Building Code (IBC), and other industry standards and best practices.
Perform routine inspections during construction of the facility, installation and commissioning of systems and infrastructure.
Prepare project documentation job reports, risk and threat assessments, specifications, drawings (formal and informal) and budget reports.
Work closely with IT resources, vendors, and other technical teams to integrate all systems and infrastructure (security, AV, SCS, other core and non-core systems).
Knowledge of data center and/or network systems design to include UPS, generator, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC), data center infrastructure management (DCIM), grounding, raised flooring, etc. 
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with public safety personnel to understand their needs and customize the solutions accordingly.
Provide technical expertise and recommendations during planning and design phases.
Plan, coordinate, and report daily work activity to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines.
Conduct analysis, develop reports and presentations, present findings and options to clients and potential clients
Share technical knowledge and expertise with peers - exchanging ideas, concepts, and processes that create a strong team approach to problem-solving and client solutions 
Coordinate with our business development staff to advance ongoing programs, and proposal statements of work for additional services
Assure the quality of project deliverables. Deliver projects within client budget guidelines
Ability to travel 30 - 40% as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of five years of experience in engineering, IT, construction, or a related field, in a public safety or critical infrastructure environment.

Experience with reading construction drawings, specifications, codes and standards, and engineering graphics. 
Experience with Procore, BIM 360, Visio, Blue Beam, and AutoCAD/Revit necessary.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure, complex technological systems and critical facilities.
Ability to safely work in a construction environment for information gathering, quality control, and work assessment. 
Must be able to complete Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) certification upon hire.
Experience managing complex public safety projects and/or training (preferred).
Working knowledge of technical and operational standards that apply to public safety communications.
Knowledge of PSAP operations is desired

This role involves collaborating with various MCP departments, clients, industry partners, architects, and contractors to ensure the effective design, deployment and integration of secure, resilient infrastructure aligned with industry standards (Motorola R56, NFPA 1225, BICSI) and public safety requirements. The ability to conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements is essential. 
Candidates are required to translate client requirements into system designs that meet functionality and budgetary needs. Candidates will be required to generate functional system descriptions and design narratives, complete block wiring diagrams, rack elevations, custom plates, cabling assemblies, and produce specifications and budget estimates. Candidates will be required to participate on design teams for facilities, review drawings, and submittals, and develop specifications and budget estimates. On-site inspection of installation may also be required on occasion. Ideal candidates should have technical expertise and the ability to coordinate information to support the design of essential facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to supporting critical public safety initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design SCS for public safety facilities that include standards-based redundancy, and geo-diversity, per industry best practices
Develop detailed system schematics and mission critical facility drawings utilizing AutoCAD and Revit; as well be competent in BlueBeam products, and Visio)
Design security systems, including access control, and surveillance (CCTV cameras), and recording
Experience with common access control, security, camera hardware and systems
Experience integrating detailed network designs with both technical and office furniture layouts
Provide budget estimates for SCS, data center components, access control, and security systems
Ensure all installations comply with industry codes, International Building Code (IBC), industry standards and best practices
Perform routine inspections and site inspections during installation and commissioning
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project execution
Prepare project documentation, including scopes of work, timelines, and budget reports
Work closely with IT resources and other technical teams to integrate all low voltage systems and infrastructure
Knowledge and experience with data center systems to include UPS, generator, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC), data center infrastructure management (DCIM), grounding, raised flooring, etc. is a plus  
Collaborate with public safety personnel to understand their needs and customize the solutions accordingly
Provide technical expertise and recommendations during planning and design phases
Ability to travel 50% of the time 
Use communications tools, and Office 365 applications effectively, to develop and share work product

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, information technology, or a related field highly preferred
Must either have or be able to successfully complete credentialing and certifications within two years (e.g., Registered Communications Distribution Designer [RCDD]. 
Minimum of two years of experience in structured cabling design, A/V, security camera systems, and access control, preferably in a public safety or critical infrastructure environment
Proficiency in SCS desired, security system design, including knowledge of audio processing, acoustics, video conferencing, control systems, cameras, CCTV and CATV design
Experience with engineering graphics, such as Visio, BlueBeam, and AutoCAD
