The Facilities Project Engineer III works with the Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) project team during the FEED and design phases of the project, along with providing support as needed during appraise, construction, operation, and maintenance of the facilities to ensure cost-effective, efficient, safe, and optimal CCS facilities throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Facilities Engineer may contribute to projects in BKV&rsquo;s upstream and midstream business units as needed.
This role is recognized as a subject matter expert in the work area. The person in this role will have to be able to think critically and work with various stakeholders in a very dynamic and collaborative way to ensure that projects are identified and initially scoped that could have maximum positive impact to BKV&rsquo;s business. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture.
Responsibilities

Develop fit-for-purpose appraisal and selection criteria and innovative solutions for CCS facilities.
Perform scoping CCS FEED and design with an eye to project optionality and long-term viability.
Work with the Operations team to create designs that will address from build onto project end of life.
Be a subject matter expert for CCS facilities at BKV. Work with the Facilities Engineering team to help identify and develop internal engineering standards and design guidelines. Innovate the design standards and guidelines over time to reduce project costs and cycle time while maintaining or improving project quality.
Be a subject matter expert for CCS pipelines and facilities at BKV. Work with the Facilities Engineering team and Midstream organization to develop standards and guidelines for transportation components of CCS projects.
Support projects in the later stages of development though early-stage design of preventive maintenance programs. Direct and participate in facility inspections and audits on facilities at BKV.
Manage third-party engineering efforts during appraisal including RFP development, bid evaluation, and vendor relations. Provide expert advice on procurement, EPC and contractor/vendor management matters.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Strong technical background in plant processing, CO compression, midstream operations, and construction management.
Proven experience in CO facilities in oil and gas applications.
Experience with rotating equipment, metering, dehydration units, and HS treating in CO contexts.
Knowledge of pipeline and process modeling tools; proficiency in Synergy, ProMax, HYSYS, or equivalent.
Business acumen, with cost/benefit approach and balance of cost, quality and project economics related to facilities and their integration into a broader project.
Deep understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, NACE, API, ASTM, etc.).
Working knowledge of federal (EPA) and state-level regulatory frameworks governing CO, CCS, and carbon management.
Strong project and time management capabilities; able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering tools such as Synergy. Uses insights from digital tools to improve performance.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various internal teams and stakeholders.

Education & Experience
Required

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or similar equivalent.
7+ years facilities engineering experience in oil and gas, with recent focus on CO2 applications.

This position is based out of the BKV Office in Fort Worth, Texas or Denver, Colorado.
Some travel (up to 30%) may be required

Responsibilities

Job Summary
BKV Corporation is looking for a talented Corporate Development Associate to lead the effort to build financial models and support due diligence efforts. As a member of the Corporate Development team, you will work collaboratively across functions to identify and evaluate both acquisition and strategic investment opportunities in all of Energy. You will provide the management team with the needed insight to drive intelligent, sound decision-making. This role will allow you to bring your quantitative skills, strategic thinking, and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think creatively about what could be in the future. 
The Corporate Development team drives BKV&rsquo;s future growth by identifying acquisition and strategic investment opportunities in all of Energy. You will be joining an exciting team, dedicated to finding and evaluating accretive Upstream, Midstream, Power, Retail, and CCUS opportunities. The Corporate Development team focuses on both asset and corporate level deals and any joint venture or partnership opportunities.

This individual would create value through their end-to-end ownership of the Corporate financial model, rigorous analysis of financial model inputs and supporting financial evaluation work which would underpin the valuation of acquisitions on behalf of BKV and its investor(s).

Responsibilities

Mergers & Acqusitions
&bull;    Lead the valuation efforts of our acquisition process by being a detail-oriented Excel modeler and programmer. Rigorous analysis of model inputs and risks for each acquisition is vital.
&bull;    Work on M&A strategy, investment story and thesis, M&A opportunity identification and evaluation.
&bull;    Work with technical teams in gathering input assumptions (e.g., marketing, engineering, accounting) and incorporate those inputs into financial models to assess financial outcomes and valuation of both asset and corporate level deals.
&bull;    Drive internal decision-making process, model assumption alignment meetings with leadership.
&bull;    Perform simulations and probabilistic analysis of a variety of outcomes / market scenarios for each acquisition.
&bull;    Assist with due diligence process via providing summaries and review of financial and other information.
&bull;    Perform ad-hoc analysis to supplement the optimization of our assets and acquisitions.
Long Range Planning 
&bull;    Manage our corporation&rsquo;s Corporate Model, to forecast our entire Company&rsquo;s long-term performance across multiple market scenarios.
&bull;    Work Cross Functionality to receive alignment on the Company&rsquo;s long-range plan and consolidate results into financial projections to present to the Company&rsquo;s leadership.

M&A Market Research

The Retail Power Portfolio Analyst III supports BKV Energy&rsquo;s Go-To-Market (GTM) organization by developing, maintaining, and enhancing analytical tools that inform pricing, acquisition, retention, and risk management decisions for Residential and Small Commercial customers. This role is responsible for delivering timely and accurate retail Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) insights, portfolio performance analysis, and financial projections to support daily operations and strategic initiatives.
Working closely with Portfolio Management, Risk, and Commercial teams, the Analyst translates complex data into actionable insights. Responsibilities

Support recurring daily, weekly, and monthly operational and analytical deliverables, including retail COGS reporting for Residential and Non-Commercial segments, daily cashmonth P&L estimates, and weekly risk management reports.
 Manage, validate, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple internal and external sources to produce accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical models and tools to support portfolio performance monitoring, pricing decisions, and shortterm risk mitigation.
Actively reconcile expected versus actual costs and volumes, identify drivers of variances, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Analyze weather, demand, supply, and regulatory or policy conditions to support seasonal hedging strategies and portfolio recommendations.
Support day-ahead (DART) bidding strategy in coordination with the Trading function, applying ERCOT market fluency, including post-RTC+B market design, to inform short-term positioning.
Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of the team's short-term (ST) decision support tooling used for pricing and risk positioning decisions.
Partner with internal BKV teams to translate complex quantitative analysis into clear business insights and recommendations.

The Investor Relations and FP&A Analyst supports both the Investor Relations (IR) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions, contributing to financial forecasting, performance analysis, corporate planning, and external reporting support processes.
The Analyst supports public company planning, earnings preparation, underlying guidance analytics, and ad hoc financial analytics, with exposure to senior leadership, capital markets activity, and cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires strong financial modeling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced public company environment.

FP&A Responsibilities

Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
Assist in preparing public financial guidance, including scenario, sensitivity, and downside/upside analyses.
Perform variance analysis versus budget, forecast, guidance, and prior periods.
Work with functional teams to support G&A budgeting, cost tracking, and performance analysis.
Prepare management reporting materials, dashboards, and analytical summaries for senior leadership.
Maintain and enhance financial models, forecasting tools, and reporting templates.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation evaluation, and operational planning.

Investor Relations Responsibilities

Support peer benchmarking, valuation analysis, and competitive intelligence.

Monitor and analyze sell-side analyst consensus estimates, models, and forecasts.
Prepare and maintain analytical workbooks, schedules, and supporting materials for the earnings process.
Support earnings preparation through data gathering, validation, reconciliation, and trend analysis.
Assist with special projects and financial models supporting investor materials, capital markets analysis, and strategic communications.
Maintain historical financial databases, KPI tracking, and IR reporting materials.

Job Summary 


The Market Risk Analyst (Gas & Power) plays a critical role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting market risk exposures across the company&rsquo;s physical and financial natural gas and power trading portfolios. This role ensures trading activity adheres to approved risk limits, provides independent risk oversight, and delivers timely insights to support trading desks, risk leadership, and executive management. The position interfaces closely with Commercial, Accounting, Credit, Treasury, and Audit. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture. 


 
Responsibilities 


Market Risk Measurement 




Monitor daily marktomarket (MTM) results, positions, and exposure for natural gas and power portfolios across hubs, zones, ISOs/RTOs, and regional basis markets. 






Produce and distribute risk reports that capture exposures by location, product, tenor, and strategy, including physical positions, financial derivatives, hedging instruments, etc. 






Validate forward curves (price, volatility, discounting, etc.) for natural gas (e.g., Henry Hub, regional basis) and power (e.g., ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP, CAISO). 






Analyze P&L drivers including price moves, shape changes, load forecasts, generation outages, and congestion patterns. 




 
Limit Monitoring & Governance 




Track adherence to notional, tenor, volumetric, and stress limits. 






Identify and promptly escalate limit breaches or emerging risks in accordance with the Market Risk Policy and Corporate Hedge Policy 






Support updates to market risk limits as portfolio strategies evolve. 




 
Analytics & Modeling 






Support continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and process implementation efforts. 






Assit with enhancements to risk models for stress tests and scenario analysis. 






Review model assumptions and valuation methodologies, conduct back-testing and periodic model calibrations. 






Partner with team and IT to improve analytical tools, data pipelines, and risk system functionality. 




 
Market Insight & Portfolio Analysis  




Monitor market fundamentals, including weather, load forecasts, pipeline constraints, storage dynamics, generation mix, and transmission congestion. 






Analyze how fundamental drivers impact portfolio exposures, hedge effectiveness, and optionality. 






Support evaluation of new trading strategies, structured transactions, assetbacked deals, and retail transactions from a market risk perspective. 




 
Risk Controls & Compliance  




Ensure compliance with the Market Risk Policy, Corp Hedge Policy, and other risk frameworks. 






Support internal and external audits, model validations, and inquiries. 






Collaborate with Credit Risk to provide a combined view of counterparty exposure and market exposure.
