We are recruiting a Patient Care Advocate to join our team of health care professionals. As a Patient Care Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to specialty pharmacy program members by responding to telephone calls and providing outreach.  
 

Job type: Full-time (on-site)

Salary Range: $22.88 - $25.75 hourly, depending on experience

Essential functions and activities:
1.    Acts as liaison between company, patients, and physician&rsquo;s office.
2.    Responsible for reviewing new prescriptions and making sure all necessary information including insurance verification is available to process orders.
3.    Explains all company programs and services to patients and physician&rsquo;s office staff.
4.    Communicates with patients as needed based on prescription refills and refers any medication or illness related questions or concerns to a board licensed healthcare professional, including but not limited to nurses, pharmacists, and supervised pharmacy interns.
5.    Responsible for scheduling prescription refills utilizing the pharmacy software.
6.    Maintains documentation of calls to and from patients.
7.    Contacts patients to schedule deliveries, confirm addresses, inform of any co-payments involved, and notify of payment responsibilities.
8.    Refers under- or uninsured patients to appropriate patient assistance programs and helps with applications.
9.    Communicates patient status to physician&rsquo;s offices/clinics.
10.  Maintains patient confidentiality.
11.  Utilizes operating systems and tools to help manage patient therapy and refill compliance.
12.  Maintains active Oregon license. Informs supervisor within 1 business day (and Oregon Board of Pharmacy within 10 days) of any arrests, convictions, suspected or known violations of law, or any other conduct that might affect or has affected license status. Reports to Oregon Board of Pharmacy within 15 days any changes to name, residence address, or employment.
13.  Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be revised from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. 
14.  Actively participates and provides support as needed to leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company&rsquo;s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.
15.  Complies with the company&rsquo;s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.

Position specifications:
1        Education and experience
a.    Required:
                      i.        High school diploma or GED.  
                     ii.        Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License. A Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License will be required prior to expiration of existing Oregon license or as required by the Oregon board of Pharmacy. 
b.    Preferred:
                      i.        Six months to one year of experience in a medical office or pharmacy setting.
                     ii.        Prior work experience in a customer service setting

b.    Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

3.        Working conditions
a.    Work is performed primarily at a desk, with extensive keyboard and telephone work in a stationary position.

Position responsibilities:

Electronically submits prescription insurance claims and completes benefits investigations.
Acts as liaison between company, patients, physician&rsquo;s office, manufacturer, HUBs, and third-party payers
Responsible for reviewing new prescriptions and making sure all necessary information including insurance verification is available to process orders.

Monitors and reports to supervisor and team any changes in manufacturer program rules that impact specialty pharmacy program adherence. 
Supports duties of resource team, call center, Billing Specialist, and Benefits Coordinator when needed. 
Resolves complex issues and concerns for dedicated accounts, and provides educational information to clients, business, and channel partners.  
Works with HUB for limited distribution drug referrals.
Assists with technical training and serves as point of contact for testing new processes; aids in developing procedures and job aids as needed.
Participates in and assists with manufacturer program implementation.
Manages manufacturer and payer program reporting when applicable.

Processes and tracks vendor packages daily.

The Lead Production Technician guides and participates in the production team&rsquo;s day-to-day operations to ensure daily needs are met, under the supervision, direction, and control of a pharmacist. This position is proficient in medication dispensing, shipping, and procedures to ensure compliance. The Lead supports team training, scheduling, and meetings as requested. This role also supports departmental quality initiatives to ensure continued high-quality patient care.

This leadership role offers a unique entrepreneurial experience for a candidate who understands the sales cycle of Infusion and Specialty Pharmacy Services.  This role requires consultative, proactive sales strategies directed at decision makers and decision influencers for existing and new client contacts. Initially focused on direct sales and expansion opportunities, this role will evolve into a position responsible for hiring and managing a high-performing sales team and implementing a scalable sales strategy to exceed growth targets. The Director of Specialty Pharmacy Sales and Service is responsible for the success of sales and service initiatives across the enterprise.  This leader will oversee pharmacy client services, sales operations, go-to-market strategies, market solutions development, and client/broker/consultant engagement to support organizational priorities.  This position is accountable for evaluating the pharmacy market for new opportunities and developing innovative pharmacy-related service offerings that support providers, payors, and industry partners.  This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by supporting medical specialists such as oncologists, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, immunologists, and general physicians who refer patients out for specialty pharmacy services. The Director of Sales and Service will develop and manage a core team committed to building strong client relationships, optimizing sales cycle workflows for efficiency and performance, and identifying cross-sell opportunities to drive client satisfaction and revenue growth. This leader will establish strong working relationships with core business partners and management teams in other key areas of the organization to ensure seamless delivery of products and services. They will participate in strategic and tactical planning to ensure relevance of business plans and deploy modifications as necessary to align with current and anticipated market dynamics.

Pay range: $138,271.55 - $186,670.03 annually, depending on experience.

Position specifications:
1.        Education and experience
a.    Required:
                      i.        Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, sales management, or a related field; master&rsquo;s degree preferred.
                     ii.        10+ years&rsquo; experience in pharmacy or healthcare industry with demonstrated success in sales, business development, and leading expansion and growth initiatives. 
                    iii.        Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales development, business development, or outbound sales leadership, with a proven track record of driving new business growth and market expansion.
                   iv.        Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
                    v.        Expertise in leading high-performing sales development teams, implementing best-in-class prospecting methodologies, and utilizing customer relationship management platforms and technology powered sales tools to enhance lead generation and cultivate partnerships.
b.    Preferred:
                      i.        Preferred certifications include Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP), Strategic Sales Management Certification (SSMC), and Business Development Executive Certification (BDEC) to demonstrate advanced expertise in sales development and leadership.
                     ii.        Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical and specialty pharmacy industries with experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare technology, or life sciences business development.
                    iii.        Strong understanding of healthcare systems, hospital procurement, and medical sales cycles
                   iv.        Demonstrated experience leveraging technology in daily work to drive efficiency, solve problems, and enhance decision-making.

3.        Working conditions
a.    Work is performed primarily at a desk with extensive keyboard work in stationary position. 
b.    Workflow may fluctuate and work outside of a standard workweek may be required.

b.    Externally with various customers, vendors, suppliers, contractors, auditors, consultants, and business partners.

Serves as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to executive leadership in the growth and development of new provider partnerships, manufacturer partnerships and healthcare initiatives. 
Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team by setting the standard for outbound prospecting, pipeline acceleration, and high-value lead conversion.
Implement elite coaching programs, performance tracking systems, and execution frameworks to drive peak performance while fostering a culture of collaboration.
Establish strong working relationships and acts as a liaison with core business partners and leadership in key areas of the organization to assure seamless delivery of quality products and services. 
Act in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws, with the highest ethical standards Ardon consistently strives to achieve. Legal and ethical compliance is an essential duty of this employee.
Provide oversight and leadership in the launch of new programs and services.
Participate in and Chairs multidisciplinary committee meetings as assigned. 
Meet with specialists and practitioners in the field and participate in industry forums, advisory boards, and panels to advance networking and industry dialogue specific to specialty pharmacy.
Participate in strategic and tactical planning to ensure relevance of business plan and employ modifications as necessary to align with the current and anticipated dynamics of the market.
Contribute as an Ardon/ Emerging and industry Subject Matter Expert to the evaluation and development of new tools, services models and solutions that drive new business capabilities and healthcare services. 
Applies deep institutional knowledge of Ardon/Emerging to represent the organization&rsquo;s mission and values in all efforts and interactions, both internal and external.
Maintain and document an effective call cycle for follow-ups, detailing, and competent account management.
Drive transformation by evolving outbound sales methodologies, embedding a data-driven mindset, and building scalable, repeatable systems that accelerate industry leadership and long-term competitive advantages.
Actively participates and provides support as needed to fellow leadership and quality program staff to ensure activities related to the company&rsquo;s quality management program and quality improvement activities maintain priority focus and are effectively executed. This may include but is not limited to activities that promote objective and systematic measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of services and defined Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs) that may result from such efforts.

We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team of health care professionals. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing services to educate and empower patients and facilitate safe dispensing of specialty medications. The Clinical Pharmacist conducts patient assessments to promote safe and effective therapy, engages with providers to optimize therapy, and performs comprehensive prescription verification. The Clinical Pharmacist may supervise the activities of pharmacy support personnel, as well as participate in the organization&rsquo;s quality management activities.

Job type: Full-time, in-office

Pay range: $130,486.45 - $166,369.08 annually, depending on experience. Actual pay is based on qualifications. Applicants who do not exceed the minimum qualifications will only be eligible for the low end of the pay range.

Position responsibilities:

Maintains focus on optimal patient care, safety, and delivering an excellent patient experience.
Engages patients in detailed clinical counseling, assessment, and monitoring on all aspects of their medication regimens, disease states, and addresses inquiries that arise.
Completes clinical and quality control checks on prescriptions to ensure all patients receive safe and effective treatments.
Conducts provider outreach to ensure appropriate, safe, and effective therapy.
Uses available resources to stay knowledgeable about current clinical topics, industry practice standards, safety concerns, and incorporates them into daily practice.
Assists with employee training, preceptorship, and special projects as needed.
Provides support to leadership and quality program staff to ensure quality management programs and improvement activities are a priority focus and effectively executed.
Provides supervision and oversight to pharmacy support personnel. Maintains medication storage, supply chain, and prescription area security. 
Provides on-call support as requested to ensure security of pharmacy, proper medication storage, and continuous patient access to pharmacist services.
Obtains certifications and pharmacist licensure in additional states as requested to meet business needs.
Maintains complete documentation of clinical activities to meet requirements and support effective patient care.
Receives and facilitates prescription transfers and verbal prescriptions with accuracy and completeness.
Effective communicator, establishing and maintaining professional and positive relationships with patients, providers, and colleagues. 
Adheres to all state, federal, and local laws pertaining to drug dispensing and patient information, as well as company policies and procedures.
Remains dependable and maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality.
Is solution-oriented and problem-solving to promote safe, effective therapy and remove barriers to care.
Maintains active Oregon Pharmacist license. Informs supervisor within 1 business day (and Oregon Board of Pharmacy within 10 days) of any arrests, convictions, suspected or known violations of law, or any other conduct that might affect or has affected license status. Reports to Oregon Board of Pharmacy within 15 days any changes to name, residence or mailing address, email, phone, or employment.
Notifies supervisor within 1 business day of any changes to pharmacist licensure status in any other state where a pharmacist license is held. 
Complies with the company&rsquo;s Human Resources policies, Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct, and all department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company, employee, and customer information; attending work punctually and regularly; and adhering to good safety practices in all activities.
