Our goal is to provide industry best customer service for all outbound orders and ship on time, in full quantities as inventory permits. The Customer Service Manager is responsible for developing collaborative solutions with customers through strong understanding of supply chain inventory, transportation, warehousing, project management, and continuous improvement practices.


Responsibilities:
• Main interface between the company’s ERP system and our customers
• Fully understand and manage order process from placement of order by customer, to system integration of order, to shipping, to arrival at warehouses and customers
• Notify customers of all needed information regarding order process, including but not limited to:
• Shipping date and any possible delays
• Inventory shortages
• Missing orders (based on cycle history)
• Promotional time frames
• Review order and invoice accuracy and reconcile, as needed
• Manage customer payments, check account for credit, and outstanding payments
• Manage all customer discounts
• Manage deductions and, if necessary, dispute
• Maintain all system records and process for customer ordering relationships
• Collaborate with peers to understand inventory levels, supply chain, and order cycles
• Track all issues, errors, and returns and ensure all problems are completely closed and resolved
• Potential for Supervising Customer Service Technicians as sales grow


Qualifications:
• Minimum one year using an enterprise order management system
• Minimum one year in a customer service role
• Minimum one year in a collaborative role
• Preferred experience working in a CPG industry
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to follow tactical instructions
• Ability to understand customer vernacular and translate as needed to peers for problem resolution
• Ability to understand company vernacular and translate as needed to customers for problem resolution
• Strong computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
o Excel skills including advanced functions, pivot tables, and report building
