Description

On behalf of our Swiss client, a leading worldwide supplier of high performance engineering solutions, operating in various fields as Oil&GAS,Power Generation,Chemicals and etc., we are searching for:

Project Manager - Process Plants

Responsibilities:

• Primary customer contact. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/ coordinate with staff as appropriate.

• Owner for the financial performance of a project.

• Owner for on-time delivery in accordance with contract

• Owner for project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout.

• Monitor all the processes related to the communication and lead the PM meetings and report to the Senior Project Manager

• Responsible for the contract review to identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates

• Corrective action where appropriate

• Creating a team work environment which enables the own team mates to perform at their best.

• Building up a long-term relationship with the Customer based on accountability and trust.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Technical college or degree or equivalent technical education in the Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering

• Training in Project Management – Certificates PMP ,PMI or  IPM (preferable)

Minimal 5 years of experience as Project Manager in the Chemical, Petro-chemical and/or  O&G,

• Fluency in English language German or/and French languages are an advantage 

• Good Knowledge on SAP is a must,  Office suit, Microsoft Project , Primavera

• Willingness to travel (approx. 20%) in Europe

Work place: Basel area, Swiss 

We expect the flexibility and willingness to travel extensively, also at short notice. Candidates with valid permits from EU or Switzerland have first consideration.

Required Skills
