Speech Language Pathologist - Full-Time in St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be providing school-based services to children in the St. John the Baptist Parish, Louisiana. The school-based Speech/Language Pathologist provides speech pathology intervention to students in a school/educational setting. Services provided may include screening, evaluation, planning individual treatment programs, providing direct treatment and consultation, and participating as a member of the IEP team. The speech/language pathologist performs other related duties as required.

The parish seat is Edgard, an unincorporated area, and the largest city is LaPlace, which is also unincorporated. St. John the Baptist Parish was established in 1807 as one of the original 19 parishes of the Territory of Orleans, which became the state of Louisiana. St. John the Baptist Parish is the “Heart of the River Parishes,” those communities located along the Mississippi River between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Speech Language Pathology License through Louisiana Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
Louisiana Qualified Certificate in Speech Pathology or Speech Pathology Certificate
