Customer Service Lead, Food Manufacturing, Brecksville, OH


The Customer Service Lead will support the Customer Service Manager in all aspects of the customer service function. This includes supporting daily tasks, as well as assisting with certain managerial responsibilities. This function will also manage accounts within customer service and onboard new customers and assisting in onboarding of new prospects and customers within the distribution network.


Customer Service Lead Job Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a lead, providing support and direction to the customer service department, capable of performing key tasks in the department. These include: 
    • Back up to Customer Service Manager and customer service team members.
    • Assist the Customer Service Manager in implementing, maintaining, improving processes and procedures and training customer service representatives.
    • Responsible for onboarding new accounts, setting up and maintaining customer master. 
    • Responsible for issuing the different service and supply reports and KPI’s internally and with customers and distributors.
    • Serve as liaison with Agrana’s distributor on new business development projects. 
    • Develop relationships and manage customer service functions on assigned accounts.
    • Obligation to act in accordance with the AGRANA compliance guidelines.


Customer Service Lead Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration   
  • Minimum five years of progressive customer service experience
  • Previous leadership experience and experience leading projects
  • Strong communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders without direct influence
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-driven, strong ability to self-direct
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Problem solving, strong analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills (SAP experience preferred)
