Futures Education is seeking to hire a School Based Speech Language Pathologist (PRN) for our Charter-based partner schools in Chicago, IL for the upcoming 2020/21 school year.

As a member of our team, the SLP’s responsibilities include:
Work individually or in small groups with students.
Participate in parent/teacher meetings to present your findings and results and discuss how to best support students’ needs.
Conduct initial or triannual assessments and develop IEP goals based on the outcomes of those assessments.
Follow special education procedures, which include but is not limited to, participating in team and IEP meetings, writing and implementing IEP's, monitoring progress, and goal reporting.
The SLP plays a vital role in supporting classroom teachers, as requested concerning any language needs of regular education students.
Completes state and local mandated documentation and/or billing requirements.

Masters Degree in Speech Pathology & Communication Disorders
Professional Educators License (PEL)
ASHA Certification (CCC)
Valid Speech Language License
Experience with collaborative groups and the ability to thrive in a student-centered environment
Related school-based experience and familiarity with the Impact Service Capture program preferred
Bilingual preferred, not required.
