As a full-service, Federally Qualified Health Center, our client identifies unmet needs and gaps in health-related services and develops client-centered programs to address those needs. A United Way-affiliated agency since 1990, they currently provide adult primary care, pediatrics, dental care, vision services, behavioral health services, OB/GYN and maternity, vaccinations and immunizations, health promotion and community outreach, wellness and nutrition, and comprehensive HIV/AIDS care. The Physician Recruiter is a creative thinker, a professional with a business acumen approach, and enjoys interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization. As the Physician Recruiter, you are the primary link between the company’s hiring managers and potential job candidates. Our client will rely on you to recruit qualified Physicians for a multi-specialty clinic group, which will include consulting from the initial recruitment through final negotiations and serve as the primary contact for Physician candidates throughout the recruitment process, as needed.
As the Physician Recruiter, you will tailor your involvement through three different approaches including full search recruiting, targeted search recruiting and visit coordination. Our client will expect you to be actively involved in the following:
- Candidate sourcing/marketing
- Candidate screening
- Candidate interview process
- Candidate pre-site visit
- Subsequent candidate site visit
- Site visit details
- Candidate post site visit
- Feedback to medical directors
- Minimum of 2 years Physician recruiting in Healthcare field; Previous experience in Healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of physician practice and specialties
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and Access background helpful
- Working knowledge of an Applicant Tracking System
- Effective communication skills, oral and written required
- Strong organizational skills a must
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to work in a competitive market, and a working knowledge of trends in the physician marketplace
- Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
