G&A Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the G&A Manager in preparing the Four-Year Plan and quarterly Board Forecasts, including cross-functional coordination with all departments and providing thorough analysis of cost drivers and variance analysis
  • Coordinate with the Controller’s department during the monthly, quarterly, and annual ERP close processes, assist with monthly PFM close activities, and perform timely variance analysis reporting. The G&A Analyst will also have responsibility for ad hoc analysis, including financial management reports, metrics/dashboards, and benchmark development needed by various company stakeholders
  • Collaborate directly with departmental leadership across the organization to make informed business decisions, evaluate budgets, and drive targeted business improvement, with particular emphasis towards supporting IT leadership with financial insight
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and lead process improvement efforts
  • Support the Oracle Projects process to ensure consistent financial reporting and to validate the accuracy of the calculated financial benefits to ensure the funds approval results in a positive investment for the company

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field; one to three years of related work experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience working in Oracle ERP, EPM, SCM, and/or PFM a plus
  • Experience working in or familiarity with Data Science, Data Analytics, or Big Data preferred
  • A strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as superior analytical aptitude and organizational skills
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, quantitative acumen, mindset for continuous improvement
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
