IAC Security Coordinator

Join our client’s North Carolina team of a rapidly growing and upbeat European logistics company looking to expand an exciting business all over the country. As IAC Security Coordinator, you must display the utmost integrity and attention to detail. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you’ll play an instrumental role in supporting our day-to-day operations while assisting our European offices with imports into the U.S. Initially, our client imagines this role as 50% compliance and 50% executing clearance and delivery for import shipments, including managing and developing our U.S agent network.   • Ensure TSA compliance as IAC Security Coordinator
  • Enter and update STAs company wide
  • Conduct and update security training as per IACSSP
  • Manage relationships and accounts with airlines and other vendors
  • Assist with customs clearance, prepare documentation and research licenses and permits needed for clearance
  • Provide price quotes demonstrating a sensibility of market prices
  • Utilize, develop and maintain US agent network
  • Coordinate medical/pharmaceutical shipments, including facilitating temperature-controlled shipments


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or have 5 years relevant experience in the logistics/shipping industry
  • Prior experience with TSA compliance in the role if IACSC
  • Have working knowledge of import/export processes as well as TSA/IATA regulations
  • Must be proficient in Mac OS X, have strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point coupled with the ability to learn new software tools quickly
  • Have a strong understanding of the logistics industry and new trends
