The Digital Project Manager will provide successful planning and day-do-day management of projects throughout the development lifecycle. The Digital Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end project management and successful delivery of concurrent implementation projects.  This role will be a key member of the Digital Team, driving successful onboarding of the LumApps solutions to our customers. 

The Digital Project Manager ensures the team is set up for success, and helps the team stay focused on the goals. DPMs are effective communicators between clients plus technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Leads a cross-functional project team to deliver projects on time and within budget

  • Coordinates and facilitates project kickoff, requirements gathering workshops and system demos

  • Determines the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule

  • Coordinates work across cross-functional internal and external resources to perform digital project activities in a timely fashion

  • Manages client expectations on projects, including timing, scope, and next steps. 

  • Acts as a liaison between technical, creative, and planning/strategy teams to ensure the end result delivers on time 

  • Assessing and consulting on technical feasibility and approach for projects; ensuring technical  and functional requirements are documented as needed 

  • The position calls for broad knowledge of the digital project management and the ability to lead campaigns in close collaboration with internal teams, business stakeholders and external technical teams. 

  • At any given time, DPMs must be able to manage a workload of approximately 3-10 projects with life cycles of 6-12 months. 

Required Skills

  • PMP certification, (CSM or PMI-ACP an asset)

  • A proven track record of success delivering a wide range of medium and large-scale projects 

  • Qualified candidates have a minimum of 5 years of project management experience implementing complex digital projects

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work with cross functional teams, and the ability to influence and collaborate with Partners and internal teams

  • Ability to define, create, and maintain project plans, lead and motivate the project team, develop project estimates, and define resourcing needs

  • A strong solutions-oriented approach, user-experience focus and understanding of processes required 

  • Functional knowledge of digital commerce business processes, web platforms, web application management, application deployment processes, web channel governance and digital marketing

  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of stakeholders

  • Ability to facilitate efficient and effective decision making

  • Strong cross-functional governance skills

  • Drive and ability to work under tight timelines

  • Ability to work independently (roll-up-your-sleeves individual) as well as comfortable working within a matrixed organization

  • Strong executive communication, presentation & influencing skills

  • Fluent in verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in partnering with technical teams to drive projects and provide leadership in an Agile development process, setting scope, prioritizing features & stories, managing daily progress, and defining acceptance criteria

  • Prior experience working in a SaaS organization of similar capacity working with multiple departments

  • 3+ Years working in SDLC project management, preferably within professional services

  • Have a solid grasp of basic and advanced project management principles along with having experience in successfully applying and advancing those principles 

  • Bilingual in verbal and written French and or/Spanish
