Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare EDI (Temp-to-Perm) - MO

Fortune 500 Technology Company located in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare EDI (Temp-to-Perm) for a long-term, temporary position expected to last at least 6 months, possibly longer.  There is a possibility for permanent conversion.  The hourly rate is between $40 - $50 hourly, based on experience. EDI and EDIFECS experience is required.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define business requirements and acceptance criteria/test cases that support EDI Interfaces related to healthcare business platform including but not limited to 837, 834, 820, 835, 999, 277, 270 EDI transactions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of health insurance, HMO, PPO, DSNIP and managed care principles including Medicaid and Medicare regulation is required
• Extensive experience in health insurance ANSI ‘X12 transaction sets (i.e. 834, 837, 835, etc., XML and flat files) is preferred
• Solid communication skills with working session facilitation
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and within a collaborative team environment with little guidance/supervision
• Superior root cause analysis skills, including corrective action planning and ability to provide documentation to support analysis
• Clearly communicate both orally and in writing, business/technology concepts across all levels of the organization
