As a Customer Technical Support Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to interact and assist Delta Risk’s customers with support tickets, troubleshooting, and monitoring security events.  You’ll serve as the primary customer contact triaging support requests and troubleshooting issues expediently ensuring a great customer experience. 

You’ll research, investigate, and provide recommendations for security events and alarms to security analysts. You will be responsible for generating customer reports on a regular basis and help provide key information for reports. You will receive and process support and internal requests in a timely and effective manner including gathering technical details necessary to fully understand resolve the request. You will be responsible for managing complex requests engaging with the engineering team as needed to develop solutions. 

 This position requires excellent customer service focus, communications skills necessary for technical support of our customers. You must be a fast learner and naturally be curious and be able to dig deeper to figure out solutions. 

Skills

·        Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical security concepts

·        Research and review technical issues and provide effective solutions

·        Root cause analysis to determine appropriate course of action

·        Good diagnostic, analytic, and troubleshooting abilities

·        Multitasking skills

·        Familiar with security concepts and best practices

·        Advanced network troubleshooting experience

·        Familiar with network topologies

·        Knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection

·        Working knowledge of SIEM and other security tools

·        Proficient with installation and configuration of Linux, Windows Server 2016, or similar

·        Network, server, and application administration experience

Required Skills
• Good diagnostic, analytic, and troubleshooting abilities
• Multitasking skills
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or similar is preferred
• 3-5 years experience in IT help desk or desktop support, preferably related to information security
• Certifications such as A+, Security+, Network+ preferred
• Previous experience within an information security team is a plus
