We are looking for individuals to staff our Summer Camp positions at Camp La Jita. Camp La Jita meaning “precious possession” was aptly chosen as the name for our resident camp on the beautiful Sabinal River near Utopia, Texas. Camp La Jita rests on 236 acres of Texas Hill Country land, one hour and twenty minutes west of San Antonio.
We are currently looking for individuals to fill the following Summer Camp positions at Camp La Jita:
Assistant Camp Director
Camp Counselors and Unit Leaders
The motivated team players will possess the following experience, abilities and skills:
Enjoys working with young people.
18 years of age and over for camp counselor positions
21 years of age and over for kitchen supervisor, admin assistant, assistant director, and supervisory positions
Valid Driver’s License
Must attend a training session for these positions June 2-15, 2019.
Must be available to stay at the resident camp for the entire summer from June 2th – August 10th (Unless otherwise arranged with management)
Meals and housing expenses are provided while working at camp.
