INTERIM COMPENSATION MANAGER - 4-5+ month contract
Our downtown client has an immediate need for a Compensation Professional to assist them for 4-5 months. This position supports the Global Total Rewards team in the day to day analysis, execution and communication of programs and policies related to compensation.
- Evaluate and market price positions at all levels of the organization utilizing external market data and internal position comparisons to make salary recommendations to ensure alignment with the broad based compensation structure.
- Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of salary & hourly range structures; Oversee, run and review Wage Calculator to determine legal minimum wage adjustments, competitive wage adjustments and applicable compression including exception reports and related communications
- Prepare compensation recommendations to facilitate promotions, demotions and lateral job changes
- Develop adhoc analysis as needed to support data driven decision making
- Identify and solution identified areas of opportunities to gain efficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 5+ years progressive experience in management of a large, complex organization specifically related to compensation.
- Compensation or HR Professional Certifications a plus.
- Results and detail oriented/driven, with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment with a high level of dedication and commitment to quality of work
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work under time constraints, managing to due dates and timelines
- Excellent interpersonal/teaming and written/oral communication skills, fostering an open, direct and positive environment
