The IT Analyst candidate will provide web development services for the ATC (Analytic Production and Design). The candidate with collaborate with other team members to complete tasks on a weekly basis, unless specifically stated otherwise.
Team member with work in collaboration with CIO-T to establish and maintain the ATC Hardware architecture diagram.Duties Include:
- Create a draft hardware architecture diagram within allotted time frame.
- Ensure diagram is updated and maintained quarterly or upon system upgrades and/or recap of hardware in order to accurately reflect current architecture.
- Support ATC’s asset management and account for and Maintain Apple, MacBook hardware and mobile devices, including the pen drawing tablets.
- Maintain hand receipts and purchase documents to be accounted on a bi-annual basis.
- Maintain security requirements utilizing the web Assessment & Authorization (A&A) tool (e.g. Xacta software).
- Review quarterly for security updates and other SPID changes.
- Support the TIO (Technology Integration Officer) in hardware and software meetings technical engagements for the purpose of identifying any hardware issues and needs.
- Conduct workstation configuration management (CM) specific to ATC, to include management and update into SharePoint.
- Ensure CM actions are accessible and verifiable in SharePoint.
- Coordinate with TIO in managing and maintaining the APO baseline (e.g. UFS). Coordination activities include:
- Trouble-shoot hardware and server issues with the CIO-T Data Center Services (DCS) and UFS engineers.
- Participate in System Recovery Technical Exchange Meetings (SRTs) to plan trouble-shooting activities on ATC-specific workstation hardware and server issues.
- Provide a written assessment that identifies and expound on issues with recommendation resulting from SRTs and/or troubleshooting operational issues that occur.
- Provide a short synopsis (documented or email) as soon as possible and no later than 48 hours after the occurrence of trouble shooting operational issues.
- Support the A&A process and reviews, in accordance with the Customer's RMF and Security Framework.
- Support application service related surveys, planning and design for current and future software products and applications to identify hardware needs and requirements.
- In conjunction with the TIO, work with distinctive analytic work roles to determine the most cost-effective methods to support the implementation and acquisition of hardware needs.
- Track ATC-wide hardware and supporting servers/system issues/outages and submit trouble tickets for utilizing the Remedy tool or the Enterprise Service Center.
- Provide timely updates to impacted users and ATC Senior Leadership until issues/outage has been resolved.
- Coordinate with CIO-T to test, evaluate and assess operational and potential hardware to support the sustainment and improvement effects for ATC requirements.
- Prepare actionable recommendations and data relative to performance and health of software and supported systems.
- Support Business Continuity efforts as it relates to technology and systems.
- Assist in developing the ATC Business Continuity Plan
- Ensure ATC is prepared for, responded to, and able to recover from emergency incidents.
