Located in San Antonio, Texas, Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas (GSSWT) is a community-based organization dedicated to building girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. Part-Time Resource Center Specialist (Customer Service Specialist)
The Resource Center Specialist is responsible for successfully supporting and retaining adult volunteers by maintaining relationships with troop leadership volunteers to assist them in their work with girls.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in achieving the council’s goals for girl and adult membership and retention by implementing membership strategies in assigned areas.
Utilizes customer relationship management system (Salesforce) to support to manage, support and track interactions with volunteers.
Provides expert Volunteer Toolkit demonstrations to volunteers. Assisting volunteers in navigating the VTK system and learning how to manage their troop activities in this platform.
Provides program kit demonstrations to volunteers.
Assists with selection of program resources to support the Girl Scout program delivery to troops.
Manages inventory of equipment and resources by using check out system Resource Mate.
Implements risk management policies and procedures within area of responsibility to include troop/group activity notifications.
Remains informed and supportive of council and other department initiatives and effectively communicates changes and initiatives to volunteers.
Monitors and provides support for problem solving and conflict resolution in a timely manner.
Performs additional duties as assigned in support of the council’s mission and goals.
- 19 hours/week
- Scheduled Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 1:30pm-6:30pm, Friday 9am-1pm, and 2 Saturdays per month from 9am-1pm
