Role Opportunity within Corporate Accounting supporting the Company's domestic payroll function. This individual will draw on his/her strong accounting and systems skills to complete critical reconciliations, including bank recs, Gross Wages Payable, sick and vacation.
Other responsibilities include 941 reconciliations, 401k transmissions and testing as well as ad hoc reporting.
Skills/Experience Individual should have a minimum of five years experience; strong accounting skills coupled with advanced knowledge of Excel (including experience with pivot tables and VBA) and relational databases. Oracle, PeopleSoft, Report Writer, Word and QBS knowledge is valuable.
Additional Skills Exposure to a payroll environment is helpful. Individual should be at ease interacting will all levels of employees and have strong verbal and written skills. Ability to work independently and be comfortable with tight deadlines is important.
Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
