@Orchard has been engaged to support a growing Federal Contractor with a need for an experienced Information Systems Owner. The Information Systems Owner will support the DMEA IT staff with classified and unclassified networks, and enable microelectronics development functions necessary to address requirements from critical DoD, Special operations, and Intelligence missions. As the Information Systems Owner you will be responsible for:
- Work with the information owners (IOs), user representatives, and users to identify project computing requirements, budgetary estimates, and project timelines in coordination with the ISSOs.
- Develop hardware and software life cycle business cases .This includes working with users, user representatives, information owners, and ISSOs to:
- Develop and modify implementation and integration plans (including project timelines).
- Document and resolve problems.
- Identify and manage risk.
- Conduct and monitor testing
- Oversee deployment and quality control and close out projects.
- Work with the IO and the ISSO to identify and document the appropriate level of protection for data, including use of encryption.
- Specify data and information classification, sensitivity, and need-to-know requirements by information type on a system in terms of its confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Identify and implement the minimum security controls based on the system categorization and RMF requirements.
- Identify potential impacts to existing ATOs.
- Assist the Program Manager/System Manager (PM/SM), the IO, and the Information System Security Manager (ISSM), in preparing the final package needed for the Authorizing Official (AO) to make the authorization decision.
- Risk Management Framework (RMF) management.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Cyber security and Risk Management Framework.
- Project management experience.
- Software and Hardware and network diagram development experience.
- BS in an IT discipline preferred.
