Position Overview:
- Create User Stories, and Specification documentation, and write business rules (approximately 80% of time will be spent writing Software Requirements Specifications)
- Define software requirements for complex medical software (agile and/or waterfall)
- Assist with requirements gathering meetings with Subject Matter Expert
- Communicate systems requirements to developers from written specifications
- Assist with creating and executing test plans, test scripts and test cases
- Support Software Development Manager and Quality Assurance Manager (QA Manager)
- Outstanding analytical and problem‐solving skills, an aptitude for learning new technologies and business processes
- Manage work time efficiently, prioritize multiple projects, and adapt to rapidly changing requirements and deadlines in order to complete assignments in a timely manner
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Qualifications Required:
- EDUCATION:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Bio‐Engineering
- Graduate Degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of Specifications Writer, Software Specialist experience, including
- Three to five years of experience in writing Software Requirements Specifications (SRS)
- Software development practices including requirements documentation and software testing
- Strong technical writing ability
- Organized
- Logical thinker; pursues a line of reasoning with appropriate questions until resolution
- Familiarity with FDA regulations for a medical software device
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall development practices and associated skills including user story writing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to handle dynamic workload
