Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of routing protocols to include EIGRP, OSPF, BGP as well as HA protocols to include HSRP and BFD.
  • Knowledge with configuring/managing SD-WAN
  • Knowledge with configuring/managing Cisco DNA-C and Cisco ISE
  • Knowledge with Azure Networking - including routing, subnets, VNETs, and NSG's
  • Knowledge with security appliances such as CheckPoint Firewalls, Kemp Load Balancers/WAF, and Cisco ASA’s
  • Knowledge with Meraki Wireless AP’s and management
  • Basic understanding of Teams Telephony and Collaboration systems – creating and managing Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Resource Accounts as well as provisioning end users and MS Teams certified devices.
  • Solid understanding, and ability to communicate, the fundamentals from their formal education
  • Demonstrate they have a drive to continuously learn and improve their knowledge and ability
Preferred certifications – We will consider candidates that are actively working towards any of these as well.
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP
  • Cisco CCDA/CCDP
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
