Job Overview (Sales Development Representative)
We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing candidate with experience selling existing goods while developing new technologies and product through collaboration with prospective customers and third-party organizations. The Candidate is expected to engage and create an ecosystem of new business by making connections through phone calls, emails, attending networking forums and other web based or in person events. Once a project engagement and agreement has been made, the candidate will manage the project to the point of mass production, after which the account will be transferred to our client’s customer success managers.

The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting company goals and quotas. The candidate loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market and the thrill of generating new business in existing and new markets.

Responsibilities
This position will report to the Executive Director of Sales Development and will also work closely with colleagues in our global team including engineering, product management, and customer service. The expectation of this role is to win new business through executing the following responsibilities.
 
  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Win engagements, with new business through prospecting and networking activities
  • Deliver company introductions and engage with new prospects through company contracts and agreements
  • Remain in frequent contact with clients to provide continual support during product development lifecycle (typically 1-2 years in length)

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or business development related role
  • Honest, high integrity, enthusiastic
  • A clear track record of achievement, awards, recognitions
  • Ability to confidently make cold calls to build pipelines, ecosystems
  • Project management skills, highly detailed, with great follow through
  • Team player and highly self-motivated
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
