JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is for a Technical Analyst in support of an enterprise new development project of our POS system. The solution is made up of web-based applications and API-based services that will help drive our company’s world-wide innovation in the years to come. As the system rolls out, the data that comes must have, or be transformed to have, the same meaning, granularity, type, and structure as the data that comes from the current system.
The Technical Analyst performs tasks in support of that effort. They must be extremely detail-oriented and are responsible for monitoring data output, troubleshooting data issues, and documenting findings.
Responsibilities:- Help diagnose issues with data, applications, and services.
- Write and run queries, views, reports, and dashboards to meet business needs.
- Analyze current store configurations and data (e.g., addresses, coupons, pricing, reports).
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least one year of applicable IT experience working on data integration or migration projects.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
- Adept at engaging equally in business-level discussions with stakeholders and technical discussions with peers.
- Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and disseminate them both verbally and in writing.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience transforming JSON data to tabular data.
- Ability to troubleshoot and manage problems independently.
- Experience with SQL Server is a plus.
