Job Description- Test devices inventory management (peripherals, Mobiles & flex devices)
- Lab design: Organize and map the physical space of the test labs per product area, Assign stations to domains
- Accurately tracks what each environment is used for? What versions, patches, OS, etc.
- Communicate any hardware update, maintenance needs
- VMs updates - OS, SQL and Pulse patching/updates
- Lab management and upkeep
- Maintain all lab spaces clean and well kept
- Collaborate with the Domain owners to define and operationalize a process for regular software & data updates for test stores (physical and virtual)
- Virtualize test stores supporting above-store services by product area
- Collaborate to define and operationalize the process for test lab usage - onboarding, regular updates and retirement
- Aligning stores to different environments and implementing security
- Troubleshoot and identify daily LAN and WAN network issues, including at the user and user group level, to ensure minimal connectivity problems and outage
- Track Environment and N/W SLA. Communicate around any outages, and maintenance windows. Coordinate or any environment reservations/dependencies as needed
- Collaborate with domain owners to ensure progress of prioritized tasks around new environments
- Configure LAN and WAN routers and all related equipment when new systems are needed
- Set up desktop computer equipment (servers) and install all network and system software, including operating systems and user software packages
- Maintain and back up all networks, and servers
Qualifications- At least 1 year of industry experience in lab management
- Bachelors' degree in electronics or relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to design, maintain and deliver test labs / infrastructure
- Industry experience working with distributed, highly available systems
- Strong communication skills, ability to hold people accountable
- Good to have: Scripting language (Python), Kubernetes, AWS experience
