Our client, a handling equipment dealer, in business for more than 50 years with offices in Ontario and Quebec is currently looking for a Territory Manager for the Toronto surroundings’ area.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the main mission of the Territory Manager will be to acquire new customers by identifying and qualifying opportunities, making appointments with potential customers, making sales presentations, preparing quotes, and negotiating profitable sales contracts.

Although the Territory Manager is 100% responsible for his business development, he will be entrusted with a small base of existing clients (80% new business accounts / 20% existing clientele). Each new account signed remains under the responsibility of the Territory Manager. 

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and implement customer loyalty strategies to build loyalty and increase the use of the service with our existing customers.
  • Develop the sales territory to identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Manage the entire sales process, from first contact to identifying needs, leading demonstrations, presenting proposals, and concluding agreements.

Key performance deliverables:
  • Meet or exceed sales quotas as directed by the Sales Manager
  • Use and maintain the company's CRM on a daily basis (Salesforce)
  • Acquire full knowledge of the territory and all the activities of the account
  • Work as an effective member of the sales team, share information, and foster internal communications with other team members

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Verifiable track record of achieving revenue targets.
