Description
We are currently taking applications/resumes for an EXPERIENCED Recruiter for the Houma/Thibodaux & surrounding area.  Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following:

  • Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Ensures that human resources are properly allocated via matching skill sets to tasks and ensuring appropriate scheduling.
    • Handle project management in terms of making work assignments, tracking progress, writing progress reports and trouble-shooting issues that arise on a daily basis.
    • Make sure staffers have the resources and materials they need to do their jobs effectively.
    • Responsible for disciplinary and termination processes
    • Responsible for hiring more employees within the company or organization accomplished by contacting placement agencies or employment services as well as by posting ads in magazines, internet portals or local newspapers.
    • Ensure that all records related to the compensation, health insurance and backgrounds of each employee is properly maintained.
    • Coordinate with various customers in order to identify the types of candidates that are required for the company or organization.
    • Executing and planning workforce planning strategies, maintaining records that pertain to company requirements and job responsibilities
    • Identifying and recruiting the best applicants for particular job profiles, scanning and reviewing multiple resumes, analyzing the knowledge, skills and experience of candidates and overseeing work that is performed by a human resources department.
    • Create job descriptions, developing a pool of qualified candidates, building networks in order to locate qualified candidates and assisting the public relations department in order to establish a strong reputation for the company to attract new recruits.
    • Conduct prescreening interviews, writing rejection letters, preparing offer packages and preparing new employee orientation packages.
  • Documents Required:
    • Driver's License/Identification Card
    • Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Pay:
    • TBD (Based on Experience)
    • Weekly Pay
    • Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
  • Schedule:
    • 8 Hour Days
    • Monday - Friday
    • Weekends (as needed)
  • Duration of Job: Direct Hire
