Career Evolutions is searching for a Database Architect for a high-tech software company in the Phoenix-metro. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $140K.

As a Database Architect you will report directly to the CIO and be responsible for planning and developing overall database and reporting design with existing and new tools and establishing vendor information integrations.
Responsibilities
Become the subject matter expert for our Platforms across the organization
Manage and monitor health of database, security and user access on servers
Engineer existing data structures and data mining activities for business impact
Identify Risk in scripting and run vendor scripts against production servers
Assist marketing vendors with database performance and data access on server
Plan & Manage virtual server environment
Assist on process implementation impacts on existing reporting and data interchange infrastructure
Identify data issues within databases, and start the Service Desk process
Handle requests before work goes into creating a project
Works with outside Vendors to ensure data integrity and timely data delivery to meet project goals
Develop/Use/Train Analysis Services Cubes as needed
Identify, analyze, prioritize, resolve, and communicate reporting and data quality issues
Maintains and increases professional and technical knowledge and currency by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications etc.
Work directly with Vendors and other Consulting Firms
Qualifications & Requirements for Database Architect
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years' experience in using MSSQL T-SQL & MS SQL Database Administration
4+ years' experience in using SSRS/SSIS/SSAS
Strong knowledge of .NET Core
Experience with REST API development
Familiarity with NoSQL
SQL Server with Dapper/Entity Framework or other ORM
Automated integration testing
Akka.net is a Plus, but not a requirement
Strong technical, logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
