Job Title: Salesforce Technical Architect
Job Summary: You will analyze and review current state CRM architecture, and utilizing SFDC best practices, will design and present architecture options and recommendations to senior leadership, and will drive and own future state Salesforce platform enhancements and architecture. You will work collaboratively with the business, developers, external vendors and senior management to drive sound CRM best practices and enable solid technology solutions to real business challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for architecture and design technology solutions for solving business problems, including directing development/testing activities to ensure high quality technical standards.
Act as Technical Lead and drives problem definition, analysis, solution conceptualization, design, development and implementation including authoring related documents such as technical specifications and detailed design documents.
Creates and maintains Salesforce strategy and roadmap across the enterprise.
Manages and administers Salesforce and its related integration touch points.
Actively participates and drives the full life cycle development process for new business initiatives as they relate to core business applications and working on independent assigned objectives.
Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with external and internal IT partners.
Able to write technical specifications based on functional business requirements and work with business users at all levels.
Manages the delivery of IT solutions and accountable for analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, business readiness, and production support.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience Salesforce technical architecting experience in an enterprise scale environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Masters or PhD desired but not required.
Salesforce DEV 501 and ADM 201 certifications preferred.
Strong knowledge of SFDC Integration components (eg, SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callouts, outbound messaging, SFDC data loaders, etc.)
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development and architecting of complex SFDC CRM solutions.
Extensive experience with Apex, Visualforce, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery and Web Services such as SOAP and RESTful APIs, including but not limited to Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Integration, Force.com APIs, Custom Controllers, etc.
Experience with Customer Portal/Partner Portal using Force.com sites
Knowledge of Salesforce Integration Patterns, both batch and real-time, through multiple integration technologies.
Experience with Telephony (Five9) and/or Sales Lead Management (Velocify) a plus. but not required.
Understands ETL and data migration principles.
Strong analysis, design and data modeling skills required.
Experience working in a Scrum/Agile development environment.
Able to effectively balance and manage multiple priorities concurrently.
