Career Evolutions is searching for a Marketing Business Analyst for a global technology company headquartered in Seattle, WA. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
 
Job Title: Marketing Business Analyst
 
Job Summary: You will play a key role in helping the marketing team optimize investments to grow the business. You will mine and evaluate data and translate key findings and trends into meaningful information that is used to construct and influence marketing strategies. You will play an instrumental part in planning and measuring marketing campaigns to acquire and engage customers, ensuring accurate information drives results.
 
You have a great understanding of the key metrics for online marketing including front end performance and tracking through to conversion. You have the ability to build an analytical structure to measure the impact of different timing, frequency and creative for engagement vehicles like email campaigns. You are experienced in digging various data sets to get customer insights.

Responsibilities:
  • enabling set up of proper test/control methods in paid media
  • recommending approaches for evaluating brand uplift from campaigns
  • evaluating effectiveness of onsite testing for optimization of how customers use the website
  • developing frameworks for lifecycle marketing tests
  • evolving measurement of program benefits usage
  • providing return on marketing analysis for co-op partners
  • diving deep into and better instrumenting programs like referrals
  • driving development and enablement of meaningful customer segmentation
  • owning insights and new versions of our brand tracker
  • developing quantitative studies to better understand customer opportunities
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing or advertising, including experience tracking and reporting campaign success and ROI metrics
  • Experience in managing/leading a team
  • Ability to extract and consolidate data from various sources
  • Proven ability to understand how marketing impact the overall business
  • Experience using web analytics
  • Experience running SQL queries
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to create reports and charts using data visualization platforms (eg Tableau) a plus
  • Ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills·
