Job Title: Social Media Manager
 
Job Summary:  You will be responsible for managing a team of Social Media Specialists who create, manage and optimize client’s social marketing, content and communication. You will work with the team to develop social ad campaigns, provide research, recommendations, testing and product training. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team as well as overseeing workflow distribution and efficiency. You will also be on the front lines of any major issues concerning accounts and work with relevant parties to help resolve. You are an expert in social advertising with the ability to make recommendations for best use of this media in support of client objectives. 
 
You will monitor and drive the performance metrics of the team as well as individual specialists. You will be reporting on your team’s KPI metrics as well as individual specialists weekly and monthly. You will act as coach and mentor for the team—guiding them towards KPIs and coaching individual specialists to maintain performance of their book of business as well as personal and career growth.
 
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years of experience managing Social Media campaigns for multiple businesses
  • Hands-on experience managing or leading teams ideally in a fast-paced  agency environment
  • Excellent knowledge of social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, Yelp, and Pinterest.
  • Solid knowledge of digital and social tools, such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, YouTube and Twitter analytics, Sprout Social, Tweetdeck, HootSuite, Sysomos, Vocus, SocialBro, etc.
  • Experience with Photoshop, video production, and writing content, i.e. Articles, White Papers, etc.
  • Ability to develop and communicate ad strategy, vision, and technical concepts for clients
  • A passion for and understanding social technologies and their role in marketing brands
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to justify strategic actions with metrics
  • Problem solver who make things happen and you work well with others to build constructive & effective relationships
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments, are flexible and able to roll with changing scenarios
