Job Title: .NET Developer
Job Summary: You will be part of a growing engineering team and be able to participate and take ownership of key technology decisions. You have proven experience with front-end technologies, middle tier frameworks and back-end services. You have experience with code reviews and test driven design.
Responsibilities:
Do it all: define, design, code, test (write your own unit tests,) build and debug complex object oriented multi-tier distributed software application
Design, develop and maintain web-based applications to enhance the performance and reliability of our current applications, as well as participate in the development of new industry-leading products, leveraging technologies such as C#, JavaScript/HTML5/CSS/Sass, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server.
Estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time.
Developing automated tests, predicting areas of risk, and coordinating with our QA staff to achieve the best blend of error prevention and error detection possible.
Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
Identifies and manages interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations.
Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.
Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions.
Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects.
Actively participates in code review session.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
4+ years C# coding.
4+ years of JavaScript coding including JSON and/or jQuery and/or Angular and/or Knockout.
Understanding of MVC, and experience with ASP.NET MVC.
Ability to work with web services including RESTful Web Services.
HTML5, CSS3, LESS/SASS.
Experience with MS SQL Server and MySQL.
Experience with test-driven, agile development and a continuous integration build environment.
Responsive design and cross-browsers compatibility experience.
Cloud computing, Git, Team city, and Database performance tuning a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
