Career Evolutions is searching for a Business Development Manager for a fast-growing eLearning company headquartered in Tempe, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire position with salary up to $40,000 + Commissions.
 
Job Title: Business Development Manager
 
Job Summary: You are an experienced sales professional who enjoy a fun fast-paced atmosphere and want to join a dedicated inside sales team. You will sell online learning and training solutions to businesses throughout North America from the corporate headquarters in Tempe, AZ. You will work with a support team of dedicated and experienced professionals on a daily basis, so team work is critical.
 
Responsibilities : 
  • Responsible for contacting potential clients via phone and email and assessing need, timeframe, budget, and decision makers.
  • Responsible for closing business after qualifying potential clients to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue goals.
  • Set up and conduct online demonstrations of products and services to potential clients.
  • Heavy phone and email use to exceed daily productivity goals, which helps achieve revenue goals.
  • Update and maintain client and prospect data in Sales Database.
  • Grow the Sales Database through networking and prospecting.
  • Work with other team members post-sale to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide superior communication and customer service.
  • Maintain customer relationships to up-sell and renew existing client sales upon license expiration.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of successful experience in business to business sales
  • Proven experience and success in prospecting and closing new customer sales.
  • Knowledge of eLearning and learning management systems (LMS) a plus
  • Experience with CRM software such as NetSuite, Salesforce.com or Jigsaw
  • Experience selling and presenting to C-level individuals
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and web applications
  • Interest and exposure to technology developments and trends, familiar with common business practices, experience and understanding of various industries and markets.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
