Career Evolutions is looking for a Linux Systems Administrator for a retail company in Phoenix. Full time, direct hire role. Pay is $75k.
Job Title: Linux Systems Administrator
Job Summary: You will serve as the technical expert for Linux and eCommerce system administration. You are experienced in Linux-based web hosting environments and is well-versed in performance tuning, automation, replication, documentation, and disaster recovery. Your daily activities will be focused around supporting our eCommerce environment and web support teams. You will face the same as those faced by other eCommerce environments: up-time, scalability, and flexibility. You are highly experienced is all aspects of Linux system administration and is a self-starter that requires little day to day direction.
Job Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Linux/UNIX administration and support
CentOS knowledge desired
At least 5 years of experience with Apache web server configuration and support
At least 5 years of experience with MySQL database administration and support
Experience with virtualization and private cloud technologies is preferred
Experience with application deployment and systems provisioning using Puppet
Experience Code versioning software using Git
Automation, monitoring, and testing using Shell, Python, and Ruby
Understanding of TCP/IP networking standards, protocols, etc.
