IT/Technical Recruiter

Summary – This position will drive staffing strategies to identify exceptional, diverse candidates primarily for  Information Technology jobs up to (and including) director level positions at Our Client's HeadQuarters and regional marketplace offices, which will require development and maintenance of a recruitment network through industry and campus contacts, association memberships, trade groups and social media channels. 
 
(30%) Sourcing &full-cycle recruiting process primarily for Information Technology roles

  • Continuously build and sustain a high quality, diverse pipeline of candidates for future opportunities
  • Proactively utilize effective passive sourcing strategies to foster relationships with high potential candidates in an effort to plan for future openings
  • Consult with hiring managers to establish a recruitment action plan and interview process, ensuring service level agreement is agreed up and communicated
  • Apply an in-depth understanding of the global business environment, specific industry strategies and specific functional knowledge in order to effectively attract and source the most qualified applicants
  • Network with the appropriate talent communities (LinkedIn, job boards, schools, alumni associations, local or national associations, etc) to attract qualified candidates
  • Review, screen and evaluate applicant’s work history (resume/application), education, training and other qualifications to make a recommendation on whether the candidate should move forward in the process based on how he/she compares to the requirements for the role
  • Schedule hiring team leader  phone screens and onsite interviews, including travel as necessary
  • Provide timely and appropriate feedback to candidates throughout the interview process
  • Educate candidates on recruitment process and total compensation programs (benefit plans, Blueprint for Wellness, relocation packages as necessary, Team Achievement Dividend, annual increase program, etc)
  • Manage candidate background check, drug screen and offer processes
  • Ensure that recruiting practices comply with company policies and procedures as well as local and national employment laws
  • Work diligently to meet all recruitment metrics, including time to present, time to interview, time to fill, candidate/hiring team leader satisfaction, diversity
  • Administrative duties: ensure metrics are up to date at all times, keep common postings sites spreadsheet up to date, submit expense reports timely, clean out catch all postings regularly

(60%) Administrative Duties/Coordination

  • Schedule Meetings
  • Schedule interviews
  • Check Reimbursements, hotel invoices and anything travel related
  • Putting together interview folders and information packets for hiring managers
  • Misc. tasks and projects

(10%) Special Projects

  • Manage all vendor relationships and subsequent annual contracts; ensure contracts are up to date each year
  • Participate in annual IT and college student open houses
  • Support college recruiting as needed including: job fair representation, on-campus interviews, group presentations, etc.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for our ATS

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment and selection, specifically in the IT field required
  • Experience with social media recruitment strongly desired
  • Strong project management skills; attention to detail
  • Solutions oriented using sound judgment and decision making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment; ability to multi task
  • Customer service focused
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to professionally represent Our Client
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office is essential, specifically Excel
