Career Evolutions is looking for a HR Coordinator for a financial company in Chandler AZ. Contract to hire arrangement with pay that is DOE (depends on experience).

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and project support to all areas of the Human Resources department as needed.  This position will interact with various business leaders, business units, employees, and outside vendors. 
 
JOB DUTIES:
  • Orders departmental supplies and maintains the HR supply closet.
  • Distributes mail.
  • Coordinates travel as needed.
  • Responsible for conducting Exit Interviews and sending termination letters.
  • Maintain the public facing HR SharePoint site.
  • Manages vendor relations with but not limited to office supply, hotel sales, and catering vendors.
  • Set up and breakdown of large meetings and department events.
  • Schedules conferences and training rooms.       
  • Maintain confidentiality in regards to team member information and records.               
  • Provide project management support for various Human Resources projects and programs.
  • Assists with various charitable events throughout the year.
  • Acts as back-up to all other department coordinators and HR Connection.
  • Responsible for quarterly birthday and anniversary celebration.
  • Perform other various office and administrative duties as needed.  
  • Assist HR leaders and staff with various tasks as assigned.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge
  • Clear understanding of general office procedures.
 
Skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.     
  • Must be proficient in the use of basic computer functions and Microsoft applications.     
  • Ability to relate well with others, build relationships and constructively interact with a variety of people and situations.              
  • Ability to work independently and authoritatively in administering programs.             
  • Ability to multi-task and make independent decisions within established guidelines relating to the performance of day-to-day duties and program provisions.             
  • Proficient data entry skills.              
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.             
  • Promote a cooperative and productive office environment.             
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.             
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately and attaining a high level of accountability preferred.             
  • Ability to analyze data to make recommendations for improvement in processes.
 
Experience      
  • 2-4 years’ experience in the field of Human Resources is preferred.             
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
