Career Evolutions is searching for a Supply Chain Manager for a fast-growing manufacturing company in Chandler, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $100,000.

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary: You will be responsible for developing, directing, implementing, optimizing, measuring, and controlling all Supply Chain activities for the Chandler manufacturing plant. You will execute strategic plans to achieve materials cost management, procurement excellence, inventory management, and on time delivery targets.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing Supply Chain leadership in the facility while overseeing planning, scheduling, shipping and receiving.

  • Collaborate with regional Supply Chain Manager, providing input to inventory planning and demand forecasting and lead times. Lead improvements in days of supply, inventory valuation, inventory visibility, physical inventory, quality management, and replenishment of materials.

  • Communicate risks and mitigation plans in a timely manner as well as track and expedite critical orders as needed. 

  • Contribution to the achievement of the plant and regional supply chain KPIs, including Material Cost Index and Net Working Capital Improvements.

  • Continuous improvement on the various methods of analyses related to material loss/usage, inventory velocity and accuracy and timely development of appropriate corrective actions.

  • Supports the development and implementation of enabling technologies, including SAP MRP processes within the plant.

  • Drive innovation and focus on continuous improvement within the Supply Chain organization.

  • Experienced with the fundamentals of lean.

  • Lead supply chain team through coaching and mentoring, policy deployment, and the use of Business Process Improvement methodology.

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to identify proactive inventory adjustments in support of both sales and operational targets.

  • Work closely with Plant management and Operations towards the accurate and timely manufacture and distribution of products.

  • Measure and evaluate purchasing workflow, which includes leading cross functional efforts to recommend, implement and improve work processes.

  • Highly proactive and committed team player, flexible, and able to work to tight deadlines.

  • Monitor forecasts and orders to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

  • Support the coordination of technology and/or engineering changes.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Supply Chain or Materials Management, Engineering, and/or Business.

  • 8+ years in the area of direct material, supply chain management. Experience in manufacturing required, preferably cross-trained in operations in a short lead time environment.

  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in negotiation, resolving issues and achieving targets. Knowledge of supply chain management and processes required.

  • Knowledge of accounting practices as applied to procurement procedures a plus.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with collaborative management
