Reporting to: The Chief Marketing Officer Base Location: Chicago, IL or Phoenix, AZ Compensation: $100-120K
Role Summary:
Product marketing executes the go-to-market strategy for SaaS products.
Develops and drives product marketing strategy including the messaging, positioning, competitive analysis, collateral development and sales tools.
Analytical, results-orientated and collaborative.
Identifies and develops a comprehensive customer reference program.
Responsibilities:
Performs market research to understand and effectively communicate the market dynamics and customer needs by country, including sizing/segmentation, buying patterns, customer requirements, and competitive landscape.
Be the expert on the retail market, retail buyers, how they buy, what they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our other target market segments
Be the expert on our competition, their products and how to position effectively against them.
Works cross functionally with product management, engineering, marketing, sales and customers to influence the product messaging and positioning, based on market dynamics, customer feedback and new opportunities.
Creates and designs product collateral, including white papers/thought leadership pieces, website content, case studies, data sheets and presentations to support outbound communication, demand generation, social media and sales efforts globally.
Prioritizes agile marketing projects, in line with marketing strategy.
Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree.
7+ years’ experience in product marketing with a proven track-record marketing B2B enterprise software, including SaaS.
Experience with workforce management products a plus.
Experience of applying agile methodology to marketing preferred.
Knowledge of the retail, hospitality and/or transportation industries.
Strong intellect, solid general business acumen, excellent presentation skills
