Career Evolutions is searching for a Network Administrator for a global high-tech company based in Tempe, AZ. Full-time position with compensation up to $105,000 + Bonus.
Job Title: Network Administrator
Job Summary: You will responsible for providing day-to-day network operations support, software/hardware installation, problem resolution, and proactive network monitoring. You will ensure seamless operations of all network hardware, software, peripherals, and infrastructure required to support optimized network communications, and be part of the evolution of data communications and transport between company systems to help drive future advancements. You will provide second level support and maintenance for LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers and firewalls, drive the design, configuration and implementation of scalable network communications to support existing and future business requirements, and maintain and continue the advancement of existing network security and edge border protection.
You will monitor network performance to assist with the identification of potential issues and future design improvements, author, document and maintain all network documentation, procedures and policies, evaluate new networking technology advancements, standards, and methodologies to assist with the support of future customer needs, and investigate performance anomalies and perform root cause analysis for network and communication issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
10+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing LAN/WAN network infrastructures
5+ years of experience configuring network switches, routers and firewalls including performance tuning and troubleshooting
Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure and routing
Experience using networking protocols such as EIGRP/BGP/OSPF/STP/PIM/VLAN
Knowledge of configuration, implementation and testing of gateways, border controllers, media gateways and other network edge devices
Experience with vendor communications equipment and circuits (DS1, PRI, MPLS, MOE, PTP)
Knowledge and experience working with VoIP, H.323, SIP and video communications a plus
Adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment and excellent communication skills
