Career Evolutions is looking for a Database Developer for a growing software company in Scottsdale AZ. Full time permanent role with compensation of up to $110,000 DOE.
Job Title: Database Developer
Job Summary: You will provide technical support for the database environment. You will also work with architecture, application development and operations in order to achieve state-of-the-art environment. You will train and develop technical support and application staff to better utilize the database and transaction processing environment. You will provide a working model of the transaction processing environment.
Job Requirements:
Must haves
5+ years’ experience as a SQL database admin/developer.
Experience with SQL Server 2008 onwards
Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques.
Experience with server-client computing and various relational database environments
Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
Experience with database security including encryptions.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Working knowledge of how to maximize SQL Services.
Nice to haves
Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Proficient in SQL Scripting, Stored Procedures and TSQL.
Experience in failover clustering, SAN replication, and other high availability technologies
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.
Experience working with Windows server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.
