Our client is looking for a Lead Information Architect to add to their team of Consultants. This is a Fulltime/Perm-Direct Hire employment. Consultant can live in any of the Midwest, South and/or East Coast states, as long as they are willing to travel to client sites as required.
Responsibilities:- Lead a Team in the architecture and implementation of Data Warehouse solutions, with heavy emphasis on the development lifecycle and Data Integration.
- Guide customers in achieving project goals and provide best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage resources, project deadlines/timeframes and deliverables.
- Hands-on development in Informatica.
- Assist in the validation of designs, code and testing of integrated components. Perform Testing and QA.
- Provide assistance during production.
- Mentor Team.
- Provide Technical Training.
- Consulting experience with proven success in delivering and completing data integration and data management projects.
- Experience in building and implementing DW / ETL applications.
- Must have hands-on experience in Informatica and working knowledge with databases such as Teradata and Netezza. Must be strong in SQL and Stored Procedures.
- Ability to perform installation/configuration and administration tasks.
- General knowledge of SOA, ERP, CRM and other systems that often are designated as sources to DW.
- Knowledge of data warehouse applications, design and development best practices.
- Ability to mentor the development team and provide guidance to customers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Strong Presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
