Career Evolutions is searching for a Financial Analyst for a fast-growing B2B marketing company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. Full-time, direct-hire opportunity with compensation up to $80,000 + Bonus.
Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Summary: You will own setting of the Company’s Goals, Strategies, and Objectives used to align the Company and set performance targets. You will own creation of the company’s business plans, budgets, financial planning and forecasts, including product line business plans, as well as management reporting. You will work with department heads and senior management to assure the company allocates its resources to support the business’ strategic and operating objectives, provide the business high quality timely reports, scorecards, and metrics to manage performance to budget and support decision-making within the Company, and perform market and decision analysis to aid management in evaluating strategic and tactical investments. You will partner with Service operations as a matrix member of their staff to offer a financial perspective to their business and support decision-making, and work to continuously improve and automate the processes and reports under your stewardship.
Responsibilities:
Prepares and monitors progress against company’s Strategic Objectives.
Prepares company’s long-range strategic plan.
Prepares, updates, and monitors performance to budgets and forecasts.
Prepares full financial statements.
Supports the preparation of the company’s management reporting packages and Key Performance Indicators.
Continuously works to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of owned processes.
Prepare presentations related to the company’s performance and presents to management.
Partners with Service operations to execute organizations’ strategy and influence decision-making.
Prepares return on investment and sensitivity analysis of investments and business strategies.
Manages projects to continuously improve processes, streamline, and automate management reporting.
Creates tools and processes to create visibility to investments in and budgets allocated to key initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting.
MBA or professional finance and accounting certifications a plus.
3+ years of experience in budgeting, planning, and operational finance.
Strong understanding of decision modeling and analysis techniques, including Net Present Value and sensitivity analysis principles a plus
Ability to manage across functions and organizational levels to deliver results on time and accordance with schedule.
Expert in Excel, decision modeling, and ROI analysis
Ability to prepare full financial statements.
Excellent analytical skills and comfortable interfacing with and presenting to management
Ability to consolidate large quantities of information into succinct analyses for management, predominantly in Word and Powerpoint.
Familiar with Great Plains Forecaster and Management reporter or similar applications.
Knowledge of the design and functional requirements for financial dashboarding.
